Usually you should be able to twist the plastic bush which holds the rubber ball underneath.then just clean the internal rollers…then replace the ball and cap..the led versions do not need to be disassembled just clean any debris blocking the led signal with a qtip.hope that helps you. there are very tiny torx screws hiding underneath the teflon sliders at the front and back of the bottom of the mouse....

Chosen Solution Follow a drop on a hardwood floor the mouse works intermittently. Will work, if connection established, for a while as long as not picked up and moved. On/off light either works, doesn’t work, or flickers when trying to reconnect. Change of batteries does not change situation. Possibly a connection loosened by being dropped to floor. Can it be fixed? mtuck205, yes, based on the symptoms you describe, it is possible and very likely that you have some loose component....

Chosen Solution I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro I am trying to fix. The device charges fine but pressing the power button reveals 0 activity: no fans spin, no drives move, no lights come on. The only signs of life I can get out if it come if I try to preform the SMC reset by pressing Shift+Control+Option and the power button. After doing this the system shows a loading screen with a bar but shuts down after only a couple seconds....
Chosen Solution Early 2014 13" Air: left USB stopped working after major liquid spill and subsequent tear down and cleaning. After the “accident” I inverted the computer and dried with a large fan for 48 hours. Then tore down the machine, removed the I/O card and gave it thorough cleaning with Isopropyl. Luckily after reassembly and for 1 more day everything working fine. But today, day 3 following cleaning, left USB stopped working....

Chosen Solution When hooked up to a dc power supply. My adapter shows the exact voltage that the power supply is putting out. If i load it with 16.5 volts when checked with a multimeter when it’s not connected to a mac it shows 16.5 volts. Is this normal or is it supposed to be 6 volts then 16.5 volts when a load is applied? It’s magsafe 1 L type connector....
