Chosen Solution Hi, my father has an LG G6, and it has been saying moisture detected and prevented the device from charging. We have tried MANY things, putting it in a bag of rice even though he knew he didn’t drop it in water or anything, using compressed air, rubbing alcohol in the port, WD40, EVERYTHING we could find online. But we have heard you can shut off the moisture detection, BUT all the videos we find are of different carriers “secret menu codes” so we can’t figure it out....

Chosen Solution I can hear the startup chime when I turn it on and the light left of the lock release it on solid white when I turn it on. I can hear the chime when I tap the volume keys. I’ve tried using an external monitor with no luck but I think that has to be selected from my laptop. What else can I do to determine what needs to be replaced?...

After a while it started flickering and the bottom of the screen ‘mirroring’ half of the top portion (the part that shows Carrier, time, battery% etc) about 5-7mm of the top is also shown in The bottom. I inspected the board under the microscope and found out that there are some missing filters and capacitors. As I do not have any donor boards for the caps and filters, I wanted to know is there any way to fix the no touch issue? Chosen Solution My iPhone 4 fell from my hand one week after I bought it. The front glass was completely broken, but since I am using the glass protection sticker I am able to use all the functions in the phone, even the touch screen doesn’t have any problems. Please let me know if it is possible to replace only the front glass (without LCD). I have checked with a service center and he said the glass and LCD panel comes together and it costs almost 30% of the phone cost....

Chosen Solution I have a 2015 15" MacBook Pro with a dented upper case (the keyboard assembly). I know about the glued battery situation and how the keyboards are attached. My question is, did the upper case change from the 2014 15" MacBook? I know the 2015 models have Force Touch, does that mean the upper case changed from 2014 to 2015? The 2015 is the same model number A1398 as the 2013 & 2014....

Chosen Solution Hi There, I accidentally scratched my LCD Display Cover Glass. I inspected the scratched area closely and the scratch has not impacted the display panel. Can i replace just LCD Display cover alone ? or I need to change the entire display unit ? Sadly, the whole display assembly really needs to be replaced. Chosen Solution Laptop will not go into Sleep mode,HIbernate,etc when Lid is closed. All drivers,etc are up to date,so it’s not a driver issue. I have read where there is a magnetic switch that can go bad. Anybody know where the switch is and tear down instructions to get to it? You can use something like a paper clip and move it around the bezel of the display until you feel the tug of the magnet....

Chosen Solution Hi so i asked a similar question to this before and i replaced the screen two times and still the the gaps appear so now i have purchased a rubber gasket for the home button because i think its my button because that rubber gasket still doesn’t fit or goes around it but im still going to try and hopefully it can fix it but as of now it does not fit and im thinking that maybe its like originally like that or i just damaged the home button some how but the home button still works perfectly fine touch id works fine to so at this point this has halted my project of fixing my 8 plus for a couple months now and i really dont know what to do can maybe some one try to put their iPhone 8 plus home button on there screen and shine a light from behind and see if there are any gaps because it may just be like that from the factory but i dont really know if some one can solve this i will be really grateful thanks....

Chosen Solution I recently had an iphone 11 pro max heat up and go dead on me. Guessing it was the battery, i replaced it, and immediately upon plugging in the new lower battery cable (into the power distribution board thingy near the lightning connector) that plug began to get very hot, to the point of burning my finger within a few seconds. I unplugged it and, through process of elimination, tried disconnecting every other component from the lightning connector....

Chosen Solution Today I opened google chrome after a skype call and suddenly my screen turned black. I rebooted and it gives the chime, I type in the password (blind) and the keyboard lights turn on. When I hit some buttons I get the error sound. So all that is working. But the fans aren’t working and my macbook is basically silent. It is on but it isn’t… i’ve worked as a specialist for the apple store so I know quite some things....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve started using my old Mac (booted to Monterey) again recently, and it seems to never find any bluetooth devices at all, and when occasionally it does, when I try to connect it to my mac, it says bluetooth connection rejected. Any fixes for this? I’ve already tried a smc and pram reset, along with the command ‘sudo pkill bluetoothd’ in terminal, and tried to boot it up in safe mode which didn’t work either....
