Chosen Solution Hi everyone, So my phone was working just find today when all of a sudden when i tried unlocking it my screen was still dark. Initially i thought my battery died. but when my friend tried calling my phone he can still hear it ringing but my phone is not showing any alert of someone calling, no sound and no vibration. My home button is broken. And it is not responsive to the charger and also when I connect it to my laptop it is not detecting anything....

Chosen Solution Hi, my old 6s had been sitting in my drawer powered off for a few weeks as i got a new iphone X until recently i decided to try and turn it on but couldn’t get it to power on even after trying a hard reset. I just replaced the battery thinking it may have been the battery but it still will not turn on or charge. Could it be the charge port flex cable and is there a way to test the charge port to make sure it’s the flex cable and not something else?...

Chosen Solution I have a 20 GB iPod A1040. It charges fine and the battery was perfect until one day it just cut out! It charges fine on the dock and with the Mac but as soon as I unplug it and use it it dies! is it just a case of a new battery or something more? Thanks for any help you can give. Chosen Solution I use my EVO 4g as an MP3 player in my car. I plugged the MP3 jack into the headphone jack yesterday and the music said it was playing but I heard no sound coming thru my speakers. Yes, it was plugged in all the way in the phone AND into the stereo. Is this something that I should troubleshoot or simply have replaced? It is my opinion that if your headphones work in the same jack, but it does not work when you plug it into the audio in of your vehicle, that your jack is okay....

Chosen Solution Around 3 months ago I updated my Mac from Sierra to high Sierra and and it was running very slow. So I replaced the optical drive with a cady put my original drive in it and put the ssd in the original hard drive spot. I also upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8gb. And I made the ssd my main drive after wipeing them both and installing high Sierra on the ssd....

Chosen Solution In the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15 (15t-df000) Unboxing Teardown video you show RAM being replaceable. HP has updated the model (15t-df100) with the 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake chips. Does anyone know if the RAM is soldered in these new models? I haven’t open the computer yet but will if the RAM is replaceable. Update (12/06/2019) I’m going to do a tear down next week to validate. I haven’t seen a solid confirmation and experts on the HP Support Forum have told me differently....

Chosen Solution I just installed a SSD kit I bought from iFixit (1TB Crucial SSD, IF174-031-3). I booted from an external drive and ran DiskUtility. Erased drive and formatted as APFS/GUID. Then installed macOS High Sierra. Install ran fine. Tried to reboot from SSD and all I get is the flashing question mark. iMac still boots fine from external drive. Any ideas here? You’ll need to go back and reformat the SSD this time GUID journaled file system (HFS+) as your systems firmware was not properly updated to support GUID - APFS

Chosen Solution Hi So i was using my Macbook pro, mid 2009 13in model and all of a sudden the screen died on me. No real warning, no colored lines to prepare me, just shut off. Now the computer runs fine, and will connect and show via external display, BUT the computer will not recognize its own display, it just shows the external. Also the apple logo doesnt light up on the computer either I bought a new LCD screen thinking the LCD just died, but it wasnt it and still doesnt work Now I am at a bit of a loss as to what it should be....

If no LED is visible: • Verify AC source • Verify known-good AC cable is connected • Verify cable connection between AC inlet and power supply • Verify cable connection between power supply and logic board • Verify power supply LED #1 + LED #2 = Power available, and system is powered on. Chosen Solution So a few days ago, the lock button on my friend’s iPhone 3GS stopped responding. When pressed, it does nothing. This makes using it quite annoying. Acording to her, it just happened out of the blue, and wasn’t caused by anything. Anyone know what i should do to fix this? This is pretty common amoung iPhone 3G and 3GS’s and is due to the supportive brackets inside the phone being made of plastic and wearing out over time....

This was long time ago and didn’t really had a chance to check the system after its returned, since the insurance paid to replace it. However, since I still have the macbook, I wanted to continue using it.
