Chosen Solution player was damaged due to electrical problem. Common solution given by Sony and others does does solve power on problem. It’s dead. Is it possible to open the drawer without destroying the disc that was inside when the player died? Usually you have to take the cover off and remove the dvd player so you can slide the tray out. It only takes a couple of minutes. Every disc-playing device has a small hole on the front side....
Chosen Solution My parents have had the same microwave oven since 1984. It has been a great machine. Today my dad spilled his coffee inside of it and then punched the microwave. After that the fan that is supposed to run while the food is heating up stopped working. The microwave still heats food even though the fan is not functioning. Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Air 13” mid 2013 with a working screen but no backlight. This can be simply a dead fuse so I’m trying to avoid paying a hefty motherboard technician bill. Upon opening the MacBook, I immediately notice 3 motherboard screws that have come loose and were attached around the LVDS area. This might have caused problems. Chosen Solution @roborachel - I promise CoconutBattery is not the issue. I think you have a cable failure! MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Trackpad Cable You could try reseating it or replace it. Try holding down the Fn key and pressing the F1 key to see if the touchpad and touchpad buttons are re-enabled. Start the computer in Safe Mode and confirm if the keyboard and touchpad are functional. NOTE: If the keyboard and touchpad are functional in Safe Mode then this is likely a software issue....

Chosen Solution While changing my hard drive, my hand accidentally touched the keyboard ribbon connector cable on the logic board and the locking mechanism broke. The connector is intact just the locking bar broke off and the laptop is now unable to power up. :( I need help figuring out what to do. Chosen Solution My Mac mini 2010 (a1347 sn C07CVGNDD6H) will not boot. On power up, the mini will sound the apple chime but the everything appears to stop at the grey screen. No apple logo, question marks etc… Just a grey screen. The power light on the front of the unit is luminated as it should. I thought perhaps the he’d was faulty, so I replaced with an ssd (thought I’d upgrade anyway) but the same problem remains....
Chosen Solution I recently got a new mac book air 2015 and it originally did not power on, not only did it not power on but it also showed no lights when plugged in. I opened but the back of it and unplugged the battery from the logic board. The only thing this did was made the light on the charger turn back on. I then reset the SMC and PRAM and plugged the battery back in When I reset the SMC the charging light cycled from orange to green like it typically would After doing all of these the device still doesn’t turn on....
Chosen Solution First off the details of the system. Macbook Pro 13 inch Late 2019 , Touchbar version. The Problem The macbook suddenly died yesterday when I tried to turn it on. I thought it was a just a battery issue since I don’t remember spilling anything on it or forcing anything on the laptop and it was working fine the night before, all i see is a black screen and I’m assuming the macbook still has life since I can click the touchpad and also since I can get the laptop to DFU mode in the Apple Configurator 2 but with no success of being able to boot it up with any of the options from Apple Configurator....
