Chosen Solution tried using the iOpener, blow drier, suction cup and I can’t get the screen up. should i use the edge tool to bend the metal out a little to get under the glass? The glue on older iPads can be dried out and it can be really strong. You need a lot of heat (80 degrees Celsius) to soften the adhesive. It can help to apply a few drops of IPA or rubbing alcohol along the sides, it wil soften the adhesive as well....

Chosen Solution Got a Nanon 4th generation, 8GB. The LCD is totally dim, did a factory reset … weird thing is if I plug in the charging cable in from time to time it lights up fully for a split second then goes dim. But not all the time. Guessed it might be just a loose lcd cable, but jiggled, tapped, etc, with no results or flicker. Figure I will just order in a new lcd, but just wondering if someone has experienced the same issue (just kinda voodoo weird) out of curiosity....

Chosen Solution So I was doing a lcd replacement on iphone 6… standard repair no problems put one of my own lcd’s on which is genuine apple and it just gets to apple logo then fades off as if it ran out of battery (black screen with backlight on) then keeps rebooting does anybody know what’s happened? nope, i solved it by restoring without the screen and then putting it back on after....

Chosen Solution after replacing the screen and digitizer, everything is slightly more faint than before the repair. i would say the colors are about 10-15% less vivid now. i assume it’s just because it’s not an original part and so the quality won’t be as good, but i’m hoping maybe there’s another reason? You have to understand the parts market. When screens are made, almost all in China, there are many variables....

Chosen Solution Update 2: It was an IC on the board at the far back (4ZX27 - 05; 040803 as best as I can tell printed on the IC). I used an arrow to show the approximate location behind the other boards. I actually re-soldered the connections and that did the trick for a moment, but as I was putting everything back together, some of the lines came back. I was using a screwdriver wrapped in duct tape (because I don’t have electrical tape handy) to pull the board out slightly to push the solder back together to remedy the lines on the TV....

Chosen Solution I’ve studied the A2179 2020 MacBook Air breakdown online, and have my MB disassembled to replace the malfunctioning keyboard with a new one. The screws surrounding the board (not rivets) are super small and look like the P2 used for iPhones. I presently don’t have the P2 tool, and will order it up, but I’m curious to confirm this size, can’t find the info anywhere online. Thanks much for your work....

Chosen Solution MacBook display has no picture after turn it on. I don’t hear any fan or hard disk activity sounds. the sleep light doesn’t turn on. The computer doesn’t seem to have any power when you try to turn it on. Battery is full; and I tried to switch and/or remove both of ram sticks; no effect. I tried the SMC reset too. About the power : the light on the original power cord doesn’t turn on green or yellow when plugged on magsafe; but if I use the cord from my new PBpro, it turns on green....

But, its serial number is C2QLW00DFFT1 I am in India right now and I took it to the Apple store and they said that due to liquid damage the motherboard need to be replaced and it would cost around $1500 for the part and repair. Chosen Solution I cracked the camera glass on my iPhone, and after removing the old glass with a blow dryer and some tweezers, I noticed the camera won’t focus.
