Chosen Solution Heading text Hello, I would like to know if there is a solution to save my ibook following the mistake of a glass of milk… The last events I noticed : I put half a glass of milk on the front of my ibook (keyboard mostly) I opened all my computer, clean the bit of milk that come inside (very less, I am lucky, on the bottom side, just on the right of the plug for the battery) I ordered for a new keyboard and replaced it Then my ibook has run well during two/three weeks, and now it’s kernel panic at anytime, sometimes during booting, sometime ten minutes after running well I opened again my computer to check the milk, but nothing new, and after different supposition, I try to boot it opened, without shields : I didn’t noticed any kernel panic this way Thanks very much!...

Chosen Solution I have a yamaha piagerro npv60. The B & C keys have problems with it. Here’s the scenario: - both keys played together, respond to velocity. If you play fast trills or scale, if u hit one first, the next key, either B or C wont sound. You have to time it properly to work. If you hold down either B or C and then press the other… The latter won’t sound....

Chosen Solution The top rack on my Kitchenaid KUDS30FXSS1 was not cleaning, so I followed a video to get into the food chopper assembly and clean it. It seemed simple enough as I was going along, but when I removed the cover for the food chopper, the blade was not straight up and down, it was at a 15-20 degree angle. I should have snapped a pic. It was also covered with debris, so I too it out to clean it....

Chosen Solution Can barely make out images on laptop screen. Screen displays fine on external monitor. Thought it was the inverter board, so replaced, but same problem. Replaced logic board, still same problem. Any ideas? Brightness is whole way up. If I read you correctly you have replaced the inverter board and the logic board. The unit functions well with an external monitor. It would seem that leaves only the cable from the logic board to the inverter board or the LCD itself....

Chosen Solution Mac Pro 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon For the past 4 months my Mac Pro 1,1 quad 2.66 has been crashing. I replaced the ram using the specific fully buffered ram, in a pair etc. Blew out all the dust from fans and power supply with a blower. running smoothly all day and left it running overnight. this morning found it to be dead. when i press the power button not a single light on the logic board comes on, no fans starting up or electronic noise....

Chosen Solution Hi. I´ve upgraded my mac with a 500GB SSD. I did clone the disk with SuperDuper. When I innstaled it and start up, the mac can see that there is a harddrive in. So I tested a bit. Tried a clean install, but i get a error during the install, saying that that OSX can´t be installed on the disk. Tried a clean install from USB, and that worked, but a soon as i installed the disk back in the mac, it can´t me recognized....

Chosen Solution I replaced my keyboard backlit and speakers (all), recently after watching ifixit and other youtube videos guidance. Everything went smooth, backlit was mesmerising for few days, until few days ago, I realised the laptop won’t sleep when the lid is closed. It eventually does due to Mac OS auto sleep after no activity, but it doesn’t wake either when lid is opened. I reopened back cover, changed hard drive cable from 2012 to 2011, re-opened and closed battery connector and indicator, all other connections, checked magnetic field on screen and on top of SD card socket....

Chosen Solution Below are some photos I took this morning of an issue which seems to be happening more and more often. I haven’t taken steps to fix it yet, because typically it will fix itself after being powered on for about 10 minutes. Typically after that, it will stay working for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, this has been happening almost every day now, and (at least so far) hasn’t righted itself today....

Chosen Solution Hello i have an iphone 6 but after the update i still can’t activate because it is still always searching for mobile network. Do you have any ideas?? thank you in advance If its the Same Simcard Same Network, but just a Software Update, then it is apple software issue. the only real thing i could see is try to hard update it again from a PC/Mac using itunes, and if that doesn’t work bring it into your service provider....

Chosen Solution hellow, my moto z keep restarting and some time it stop for a few hours or days, when in connected it to the charger it stop restarting when i plug out the charger it will restart after minutes or hours ? thanks Hi @sharara , Try using the phone in safe mode and see if the problem still occurs. If it doesn’t occur in safe mode (allow enough time to be sure) and it is operating on the battery only, then a downloaded app is the problem....

Chosen Solution I have an ‘89 252-H, model# 2213KE02 & after I mow for 20 - 30 minutes the deck quits running All belts & pulleys are new, it is a 42" rear discharge The motor is a Kawasaki FB460v, which runs very strong it’s got me a bit stumped, I really don’t want to replace parts that don’t need replacing trying to figure this out. I did some adjustment to the PTO clutch & so far it seems to be working ok, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps working lol

Chosen Solution Murray Mower 46800x14A This problem started last year before the winter. The old battery was not secured well and slid around and touched the body of the mower and sparked up. I’m not sure if that might have caused something in the electrical system to short? Or this could just be a coincidence. I replaced the battery and has a good charge. If I pour some gas, or spray ether into the intake the mower fires up and runs clean / strong but only for about 3 seconds....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have got a problem with my iPhone 6 and I would appreciate if one could advise me how to fix it. I dropped my iPhone 6 and broke the screen. I then replaced the screen and found the message “iPhone is Disabled. Connect to iTunes“. Apart from this message, I was able to see the carrier name, date, time, etc on the top of screen. to fix this, I searched online and realized that restoring my phone could fix this....

Chosen Solution My phone went into a boot loop the other day while sitting on my desk. This is most certainly a software issue as I had had no issues with the hardware previously. This phone was bought new but after 1.5 years, it is now out of any kind of warranty. I have tried letting the phone die and recharging it. I have tried updating the phone through iTunes or with an itsw file....

Chosen Solution My iPod 5th Generation plays through the external speaker when earphones are plugged in. I took it to Apple store. They said it had water damage. The water damage must have been from running outside in the rain. Update Okay, none of these answers are helping me at all. I’ve been experiencing the same problem with my iPod. It’s the one with the camera in the back. When I plug in earphones, the sound plays through both the speakers and the earphones....

Chosen Solution I have an iMac A2133 that will not power on unless the hard drive power cable is disconnected. With the HD connected i get 1 led lit up and the fans try to work. With the HD disconnected i get all 4 led lit up and the machine chimes and powers up. Is the power supply partially fried or do i have a bad hard drive? Simple way to check would be to hook up another hard drive to the cable....

Chosen Solution Hello all, My mid-2015 macbook pro is suffering from a “service battery” condition, and I was wondering if the battery of the late 2013 model was compatible with it? I have a dead macbookpro late 2013 (11,2 - A1398 EMC 2674), with a functioning A1494 Battery (dead motherboard). In other words, is the A1494 battery compatible with the A1618 battery model machines? I see there are a few differences between the two, from my initial research, it seems they are not compatible, but I also see some sellers selling batteries that are compatible with both models, and that leaves me perplexed about the question....

Chosen Solution Recently, i accidentally broke a few IPEX headers for the wifi/BT module in my macbook retina. In my attempts to fix the issue without having to spend 60USD for 3 wires, I noticed that all 3 antenna cables are actually shorts (loops). The wires are coaxial ones with a twist ground on the outside and a core for signal, yet on all three wires, my continuity test shows that they are connected....

Chosen Solution Iphone 8+ Icloud unlocked? And if so how do I replace it. Do you meant this? To say it is unlocked would be quite an understatement ;>). It is beyond unlocked because it doesn’t have any electronics on it and really serves no useful purpose other than the cool factor.

Chosen Solution MacBook White Unibody Core 2 Duo A1342 Late 2009 This old Mac still works perfectly other than a keyboard that became completely unresponsive after an injudicious attempt to clean it with a barely wet sponge 3 or 4 years ago. Since then we’ve overcome this deficit with a wired keyboard. However, as the Mac still functions very well, I want to give it a new lease of life and replace the built-in keyboard....
