It could be dirt directly inside the microphone hole, not just the grille. You could replace the grill to see if that sorts it....

Chosen Solution As the title suggests, I have an iPhone SE which has dish washing liquid inside the front speaker grill. Since then, the audio sounds a bit distorted, and quieter than usual. Would it be possible to replace the front speaker grill? If they cannot be purchased, are they removable at least so it could be washed? Also, as I live in Australia, could somebody recommend a suitable place to purchase the speaker assembly, front grill and tools required....

Took it to iPhone repair store and they said there is no water damage and seems like it is a problem with the logic board, which is beyond their skill set. there is not an Apple store anywhere nearby me. Would I have better luck at a Best Buy or somewhere else? Logic board issues can only be repaired by repair shops that do micro-soldering repairs....

I realize that the wires are extremely small, is there a tool or tools to do it manually? I know there are machines that can do it, but they’re not in the budget. Update (05/28/2020) Buy a screen with the frame and a new back cover with adhesive seal. The screen is already sealed to the frame and if you put the back on correctly it should be water resistant but I wouldn’t guarantee it....

Chosen Solution my Acer Aspire E5-573G doesn’t show any signs of life when I try to power it even with a charger plugged in. The SMD-LEDs located on the edge aren’t indicating that power is being supplied. I’ve already opened the device with my trusty iFixit-Kit to measure the voltage across the power-connector pins but that all seems to be fine (19V). The battery also was at the normal voltage at full charge....

Chosen Solution Got the LCD replaced today and everything works fine till the screen either times out or gets locked. after locking when I try to unlock the iPad the screen stays black but if I plug it into the tv with a hdmi adapter the screen shows up on tv and digitiser does work. Chosen Solution I drive my car for more then 20 minutes and cut engine off, I pull the dipstick and light smoke comes out. There is a burnt smell paired with it. Usually it happens after a vigorous traffic light trip, with lots of idling, this intermittent as well, sometimes it’s pure, I pull the dipstick and even the oil filler cap and it smell clean and even, then the other day I pulled it and their was smoke, the oil isn’t milky, so I dont believe anything’s being pulled and mixed....
