Chosen Solution Hello, @arbaman @reecee @refectio and other experts! Recently I received a dead MacBook 2015 12”. When I connect charger, no chime no image, no backlight. I tried measure every power line with multimeter, but I found missing voltage only on PP5V_S0SW_LCD, PP5V1_S4SW and PP1V05_S4SW linesI use my ThermoCam and compared the thermo image with good working board but images look the same. So I think there is problem only with image and backlight (maybe)I disconnect everything and connected a known good display but does not helpI preventatively replaced U4700 but no change On the internet I found, than a lot of people have same issue with this model....

Chosen Solution I think this video is self -explanatory. Any idea? You have a damaged LCD panel. There are a set of fragile connections from the LCD to the T-CON board which have been damaged. So as you move the display you are allowing the connections to make and break. Chosen Solution Hello, My battery died and laptop shutdown, now I can ’t turn it on and laptop don’t work. While laptop is plugged with charger I am hearing some sounds. Fans are turning on and after sec it stops and again it turn on and stop again, and this repeats while its plugged with charger. Also I am hearing some ‘clicks’ one time in a sec. Shift/Control/Option keys didn’t work....

Chosen Solution I recently had some keys in the same pocket as my Iphone X and got some mild scratches on the screen. You cannot see the scratches upfront whilst looking at the phone however, under the right light conditions, they can be seen fairly well. Chosen Solution One day I shot a picture using my Minolta X-570. The shutter worked normally but when I tried to advance to the next shot, it was if the gears in the camera were locked. Apparently this is a common problem with the X-570 and the X-370. When this happens, it means that the shutter mechanism has not fully completed its cycle. This may be due simply to “lack of exercise” - the mechanism may have become a bit sluggish - or a problem with the electronics....

Chosen Solution Hello All, my question is based around the “Voice Memos” application I normally used to test the proximity sensor on iPhones. Normally, I would record something for at least 10 seconds, play it back with the loud speaker off (so I would hear it like it was a normal call), then by simply covering the proximity sensor the LCD would go dim. Then when removing my finger from covering the sensor the LCD would light up again....

Chosen Solution my ipod tells me to plug into itunes but when I do, a box pops up and tells me I can’t connect to itunes because it is locked by a passcode. I can’t enter my passcode until I connect to itunes. Disconnect the iPod from the computer and unlock it before you plug it back in. It should let you unlock it whether it’s plugged into the computer or not, but try that anyway....

From the picture it looks very much like the home button bracket for the iPad Air 2 (which is in store). Can anyone tell me if I will be able to use this bracket? Chosen Solution I replaced the LCD for a customer and a couple of weeks later he reported the left side of the display to be dim. Note that the battery was unplugged during the repair and there were no signs of liquid or physical damage inside of the phone nor on the LCD prior to the initial repair or when he brought it back in. I replaced that screen under warranty assuming that it was a defective LCD....

Chosen Solution I got this laptop back when it came out in 2014, and treated it like a newborn baby. I never dropped it, treated it with the utmost care, and i started to notice the right hinge cracked. I never paid much attention to it, but recently the left hinge completely broke off the laptop, my screen is cracked and the glass is broken (with a couple of streaks through out the whole screen) and the ventilation slot is ripped off and broken....

So example when i try to type 5 I get 5è, or if I try to press the right arrow I get 8, or if I try to press the up arrow I get 9”. Chosen Solution the lcd diplay is working perfectly until the digitizer is connected after connecting it it goes black whit line of color if i unlplug the digitizer and leave only the display everithing is fine the display is ok Sounds to me like the display, digitizer, is faulty. What happens when you plug in the digitizer?
