Chosen Solution I overheated my car, drove in the red for 10 miles but it kept working fine for a month, then, while temp at 190 i started losing fluid thru release valve so bought a new cap, still lost fluid but dont know where, mechanic said is not blown gasket and changed radiator, i am still losing about a quart every 100 miles, dont see water in oil or oil in water, nor steam thru pipe, mechanic said I have air in cooling system but did nothing about it, any ideas ?...

Chosen Solution So, Macbook Pro 2009, 3.06ghz, duo 8gb, 17" Not turning on when new battery in, or out, power board seems to be working, does the same with old battery still with some juice in it. If I keep trying over and over it comes on and stays on until I try a restart or shutdown, sleeps fine…. HELP! Update (10/25/2016) OK so I have put my old Battery Back in its at “Replace Soon” so should be OK....

Your likely hitting the classic case of a bad HD SATA cable. I do recommend you replace it before doing anything more as the more you access the drive the more likely you’ll corrupt it to the point it won’t be recoverable....

Chosen Solution I was putting the original screen onto a iPhone SE but forgot to unplug the battery so as I replaced one of the connectors there was smouldering. The iPhone now won’t turn on. How could this be repaired/what parts could be replaced to fix? You’re free to try your luck and buy a replacement screen but chances are it won’t be sufficient to fix the phone and you may easily end up throwing money....

Chosen Solution Has anyone tried to use LOCA glue to just reattach the corner of the screen glass that’s started peeling, at least to keep it from separating further? Did it work? You may be able to reattach this using super glue or LOCA glue, but be careful since this could leak into the LCD or another part. Doing this will not make it look like the paint never peeled off though....

Chosen Solution Is it worth putting in an SSD boot drive in this machine? My optical drive is shot and I’ve read that installing an SSD boot drive, then putting the old HDD in the optical drive position (inside a converter bracket) is the way to go. This is a 2006 machine. Any recommendation as to SSD? Or with this old a machine, would I get just as much speed if I were to install, say, a 7200 rpm drive in place of the original 5400 rpm HDD?...

Chosen Solution Hello, my macbook wouldn’t boot one day so I tried to fix it but ended up reinstalling mac OS El Capitan on my 512GB samsung SSD that i use in it. I tested the ssd with crystal disk info, and it said it was 99% good. I have a carbon copy cloned backup on a 2.5" 5400rpm and I installed it in my computer (internal 2.5" slot) for awhile, and it worked fine, albeit very slowly, almost unusably....

Could you validate so like me others don’t buy the wrong screwdriver for nothing. Yup, its a T5, not a T6. Someone goofed up on those guides. Buy a T5 driver and report back if it worked so we can be 110% sure....

Chosen Solution My Joy-Con has been dead for a while. It doesn’t even turn on, no lights flash on the side rail while on the Switch or off. I have opened up both controllers, and swapped the battery as the right Joy-Con still worked. Good battery doesn’t work. “Bad” battery found in dead JC works on good Joy-Con. Not a battery problem. Chosen Solution I am having some problems with snow leopard and my Zebra LP-2844 label printer. Its a real one not a eltron or anything. It even has a built in jetdirect type networking (print over network) connection in addition to USB. I had this working fine in Ubuntu 9.10 useing a *.ppd type driver. I have used couple of different drivers, It prints a test page fine, Mac OS installed it, seems to know what it is, but not in the correct paper size....
