Chosen Solution Hey My friend asked me for repair his broken iphone 5 and it was realy messed up: he tryed to open the display but he cutted the sensor/front cam cable. We changed the display but not the sensor/front cam cable because we still need to order it, we choosed to ignore it and replace only the display so he can use it while we wait for the cable but when we powered the phone we got “iphone disabled” so now i would like to know if we have to fix the sensor/cam cable or there is something else causing the problem Thank you!...

The phone itself was still working, I could still hear the music playing, the phone will vibrate or ring if I get a text or call but the screen was busted. I set the the temperature of the board separator to 180 degree for a few minutes, then started to a separate the boards. During removal, the upper board accidentally dropped from tweezers to the table while it’s still very hot. I know we should hold the upper board for a few seconds while it’s still very hot, to avoid any chips being disturbed, but the upper board was just dropped from tweezers....

As you can see its a bit of work to even get to the display. Generally the thinner phones screens are glued assemblies (cover glass, digitizer & LCD).

Chosen Solution hello all, i recently did a logic board replacement. At first it worked good but after some time i started getting problems: The keyboard works but the power button does not. I have to turn it on by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, then reconnecting the charger. Secondly, it shuts off with the slightest push on the left side(when its unbalanced, like on my lap). After that it automatically restarts a few times after which it finally gets to the OS....
Chosen Solution Hi @nxs0 , Since the TV menu screen is working OK. if you can try to update the firmware to see if this resolves the problem. (Check the Reference link on the page and read the Update guide to be sure that this is the firmware for your exact model. If it is the wrong firmware it could “brick” the TV) Hopefully if your TV’s firmware is the same version, it will still allow you to re-install it....
Chosen Solution When removing the charge cable from my ipad mini, the tip of the lightning connector has snapped off inside the ipad charging port. Took it to Apple who cannot get it out and say they can only replace the whole ipad for £250! Surely there is a way of removing it without having to replace the ipad? Chosen Solution Hello, Friend was about to toss a 2011 11” MBA because it was dead and they thought not worth repairing (won’t turn on and charger light also off when connected) . I opened it up and noticed there was residue on the logic board (see red square) and that this round item, which I’m guessing is a resistor, is missing (see red circle - 330). Comparing it to my MBA, which is nearly identical, I see no other missing pieces/differences....
Chosen Solution So my Late 2013, 15” Retina Macbook Pro started having an issue where it would not get to the login screen. I’d hear the chime and see the loading bar with the apple logo but the loading bar only loaded till 75% and it would stay stuck there without continuing on. Sometimes, this is fixed by just resetting my NVRAM/PRAM but it’s not a permanent fix. Once I get it to get to the login screen and get to the desktop, it appears to be working great....
