The mechanical click has been too oversensitive for some months but now it’s completely nuts, it acts of its own by barely touching it, and acts at a very high speed, so it makes the computer unusable as it drags and opens everything at a very high rate (for example, let’s say the cursor was over some file in finder, it would open like 10 times in less than a second, I’m not exaggerating)....

Chosen Solution I have a second-hand MacBook Air 11" late 2010, CTO with 4GB RAM and 120 GB SSD. The previous owner apparently dropped an external hard drive on the keyboard and wiped out half the RAM - there is an indent on the ‘I’ key where the hard drive landed. Yosemite and El Capitan both reported that Bank 0 had no RAM, while Bank 1 had 2GB RAM. Sierra Beta just shows Bank 1....

Chosen Solution I have been given a 11” MacBook Air early 2015 It needs a new Logic board. Looking inside I see it has the i5 4GB of RAM. Chosen Solution I would like to know if I replace the battery would that fix the blank screen? the screen goes blank however it still turns on and I can get phone calls and text messages aswell. Definitely not—however you have an equal split of likelihood between bad LCD and short to ground on the backlight circuit. Before ordering a new LCD I’d first either figure out how to take a multimeter measurement of the backlight line, or plug in some other working screen as a diagnostic test....

Chosen Solution I have a friend that contacted me about his iPhone X not charging after having dropped it. I suggested he try a wireless charger as a quick troubleshooting method to rule out the charging port replacement. He says it won’t charge on the wireless pad either. Chosen Solution I purchased a used 16 GB ipod on Craigslist. It had 2 songs on it, and it seemed to work fine. I downloaded iTunes but it would not let me put music onto it. When I plugged the ipod into the usb port it said that it was in recovery mode and that i should restore the ipod to correct, which I did. I have absolutely no idea why, but I’m worried that if I take it to the Apple store (despite the warranty) they’ll claim that I’ve spilled something into it. So I was wondering, since only the Enter key is affected, is it possible to remove only this one key (without opening up the entire computer) and clean under the key - maybe with alcohol - safely?...

Chosen Solution I need to test several mics for the iPhone 1st Generation. Sometimes they come damaged, and the only way to test them is soldering them to the System Connector. Is there any way to test a mic with a multimeter? If you want, you can cut the end off of a 3.5mm audio cable, and attatch the 2 wires to the mic, and plug that into the microphone/audio-in jack of a computer and see if you can hear anything....

Chosen Solution Liquid (milk) damaged iphone 6 had screen and battery replace at repair shop. Everything seemed to be working on phone perfectly but when repairman tried testing my network carrier he said it wasn’t reading my SIM card. Tried different card, powering down, not sure what else. Was told that the liquid messed up something in my phone that won’t allow it to connect to a carrier. That my phone can not be fixed....

Chosen Solution I’ve had this receiver for a few years and for a while, I’ve always used an Aux cord because I keep getting an Error I1 error with my modern iPod (Touch 5G 32GB). However, what I have found is I can use a workaround to get it to register more frequently (albeit without track name output).
