Chosen Solution i replaced my battery and charging port all correctly, no mishaps. i followed the ifixit tutorials to the T. i plug my phone in later and it doesn’t charge. what’s the problem If you had replaced your charge port and battery because your phone was not charging properly and you are sure the replacements are installed and connected properly plus you have tried a different charging lead the next thing to look at would be a faulty charging IC....

Chosen Solution Hi, i’m having trouble. My son done an update on this iphone 5s and it stopped half way and then went off. Now when i turn it on, the apple sign comes up and then goes out after 20 seconds. Hard reset don’t work as it still does the same and itunes can’t locate it now when i try to restore it You probably “soft bricked” your phone. If like you said the phone died in the middle of an update the software may have been corrupted causing the phone to not boot up correctly....

Chosen Solution About a month ago, my iPhone 7 started acting funny. The screen goes black, often with a thin, horizontal line of pixels still illuminated for a moment, then it shuts down completely. If I keep it plugged in, it will boot up and stay on for anywhere from a second to 5 minutes, then it will do the same exact thing. Each time it boots up, it charges a little more....

Chosen Solution I have seen several other guides for xbox mods where the xclamps are put back in-this is before RROD appears-basically they are trying to prevent RROD. so the question is…. do the guides recommend washers and bolts because the xclamp is useless or because they found another way of doing the same job? I repaired my xbox with an online set of bolts, but have now been given a friends to repair and am wondering if we can get away with just redoing the thermal paste and reapplying the xclamps....

Chosen Solution Hi, Have an iPhone 8 which cant autofocus. I have tried the camera in another iPhone 8 and it works there. I have also tried several cameras in the iPhone 8. It seems like its the close ups that that wont focus, but i cant say for sure. Have anyone encountered this problem before? Would you know if there are any filters/ICs that controls the autofocus? Chosen Solution I restored my old 8gb 3g iphone (to factory settings…) and it appears to have done that successfully. A message then came up saying “your iphone is restored, do not disconnect it until it restarts and shows up in itunes..” etc… BUT… it looked like it was going to do just that but after 45 mins now, it is not restarting, it just sits there with the apple logo showing....

Chosen Solution Hello, A few weeks ago, my iPhone SE randomly started becoming hot, and the battery drained really quickly (3hrs) I replaced the screen, battery and proximity sensor as well as cleaning the logic board but it still gets warm and overheats near the display connectors for no apparent reason. Any ideas? The pins don’t look damaged. Edit: It looks like more heat than usual is also coming out the CPU, I have tried a full reset and still no results...

Chosen Solution Hello, I have an iPhone X board here which mysteriously died while a repair. When connecting to a charging cable, it pulls about 0.4A (never more) but does not get hot, so all of the energy goes into the battery, port is ok as well. Windows says “there was a problem with this USB device” and except that 0.4A draw the phone is completely dead. Not reacting at all....

Chosen Solution Window says : iCloud backup. This iPod touch hasn’t been backed up to iCloud in two weeks. Backups happen when this iPod touch is plugged in, locked, and connected to wifi. O.K. Tried whatever I can think of and I can’t get out of that window so nothing else works. Thanks, Peter. Try holding down the power and home button till it restarts.
