Chosen Solution I’ve just decided to replace my keyboard since some keys don’t work anymore. For this, I had to disassemble it. I’ve spent a long time trying to connect the keyboard flat ribbon and after finished, I’d power it on and it powered on normally. I turn it off in order to replace the back cover. When I’ve tried to turn it on, it didn’t work anymore. No lights, no fans but the battery was still charging....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro 1286A (Late 2008) came installed with 2GB of RAM. It’s in need of an update. According to Apple, the max it can handle is 4GB, but I’m reading online that some these can be upgraded to 8GB. If I can go to 8GB, I’d like to. Your input would be greatly appreciated! When it comes to Brother, the drum is considered a user replaceable consumable - this is something you can change yourself. Yours uses the DR-630. However, I am going to encourage you to reset it and use the existing drum a 2nd time - you can often reset the Brother printers 2 times comfortably and get full use out of the drum multiple times....

Chosen Solution I locked the mirror up on my D700 this morning to clean the sensor. When I went back to it a third time the function was not lit up in the menu. I’ve changed lenses a and nothing I have done so far is working. Any help? You have to have a fully charged battery for this to work

The phone went into contact with liquids, but there were no signs of oxide inside, because it was caught in time. identified short circuit on the line 3 volt nand, I remove the short, but to restore itunes me from error 9 … Dissald the nand and I put another one that is safe, but now it gives me 4014 error ....

Chosen Solution i have an iphone7 with a bad IMEI so i just use as a wifi/tethered device to play games on. I replaced the battery about a year ago.recently it’s been acting a bit weird. all of a sudden it will just show the apple logo and reboot. when it shows the passcode screen, i see only 2% battery, but as soon as i plug in a charger it jumps to 80% (or whatever it was at when it rebooted)....

Chosen Solution I have my iPad for only about a week. Jailbroken. Not too many Cydia apps on it. Mainly infiniboard. Anyway, I have noticed today, that when I push iPod button on my iPad, it shows a music menu for about 3 seconds and going back to spring board. Tried to remove all music from iTunes and re-sync. Not helped. Tried to mess with iPod settings. Not too many of them out there and not helped either....

Chosen Solution I received this iMac in its current broken state. Pressing the power button, the white power light turns on, a CD in the optical drive spins, and the fans whir as well (I can’t hear the hard disk, but it’s probably just masked by all the other noises). The display shows nothing. Trying to eject the cd by holding the mouse down doesn’t work and neither does starting the computer in target disk mode....

Chosen Solution Power comes on and apple icon is visible but no sound or menu. In the future you shouldn’t have turned it on in the first place, but immediately put it into dry, uncooked rice as it will suck out all the liquid from the iPod, for about 48 hours will do. If by then, its still not working, some parts inside are fried. And, as iMike said, try booting it up in restore mode and restoring it....

I am making the assumption that you have a multimeter, or at least have access to somebody who does and that you have a few basic hand tools. First things first ;-) check to make sure that your dryer vent is not blocked, crimped or otherwise obstructed. Then try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times....

The first time I ran a wash cycle I got this loud ticking/knocking noise during a brief moment on acceleration and a brief moment on slow down, about a minute total. From what I have read it sounds like maybe bad bearings but I have no idea. It only does it at certain points in the spin....

Chosen Solution Yeah, got a 2013 Macbook Air that won’t turn on. Could I take it apart and add some adapter to its screen component to turn it into an external monitor for my PC? Thank you for your time!!! The cost of such an adapter would make it not worthwhile. The resolution of the display is only 1600x800. You would be better off selling the screen assembly from your MacBook Air and buying a cheap HD monitor....

Before this happened, I were cleaning it, and claped it a little bit, then it can not connected via bluetooth, usb is fine. Chosen Solution After cleaning both MagSafe power cord adapter and port, cord now stays green even after unplugged from Mac AND unplugged from electrical outlet. What’s wrong? The magnet can collect very small metal debris. You might get a magnifying glass and check the plug and port for metal stuck to it. If you don’t find anything and the problem persists, don’t risk your MacBook. It’s better to get a new one or take what you have to Apple and let them check it out....
