Chosen Solution Recently I had the double click problem with my mouse and decided to fix it myself by replacing the left mouse switch. After I finished soldering, I plugged in the mouse and the left click button wasn’t working at all. This was my first time trying soldering. I’m wondering if I had damaged the pcb when I was desoldering the switch. If you believe you damaged the pads, you can fix it this way: Cut a piece of enameled wire a little larger than the size of the gap and tin both ends(it will take a few seconds for the solder to get through the enamel)Scrape a little bit of solder mask off of the intended trace, then solder one end of the wire to the exposed trace....

Chosen Solution Hello, is there a possible jumper for the pin 31? I can’t find a board view. Maybe someone have board view. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks @martl667 pin 32 is ground so it can go anywhere where there is ground. Pin 31 can connect to C9010. If needed pins 30/29/28 can connect to pin 27 or C9001 You’ll need a new connector to fix this correctly. I think you’re good here....

Chosen Solution The laptop charges (as in, the LED on the charger changes from orange to green) but absolutely refuses to turn on. Keyboard appears to work, as every time I did a SMC reset, the LED on charger flashes from orange to green. PRAM and SMC reset did nothing to help. Any ideas? I do have another Macbook that works, if connecting them might help for some reason??? Thanks guys!...

Chosen Solution Hey, everyone. My Macbook 15" it stopped charging at all last week, but the charger’s light stays green. Before the issue started, it was blinking green, but now stays solid. The Macbook won’t work even when plugged in, leading me to believe that it was a problem with the port, which looked worn out and even damaged (ground on one side blackened and melted). I thought that replacing the port might do the trick, so I did ordering from iFixit and following the correct tutorial, but I’m continuing to have the same issue....

Chosen Solution Hi people, My wife’s trusted MBP won’t turn on. The first clue is that the Magsafe indicator does not turn green when plugged. I have tried with another Magsafe charger, borrowed from a friend, but the result is the same, no green light at all. The second clue is linked to the charging indicator (on the side of the laptop): its first led blinks green rapidly when the Magsafe is plugged (upon pressing the button), but won’t turn on when the Magsafe is not connected....

Chosen Solution I’ve been asked to try to troubleshoot/repair a Macbook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015). The keyboard does not work on the thing (except power on/off button) the power on/off button works perfectly besides that when i shutdown the device and try SMS it also works on my internal keyboard, the trackpad mouse does work as well. If I plug in a USB keyboard, that works. I bought and replaced a keyboard ribbon cable as that seems to be the most common issue causing this symptom, but it has not helped....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook 12" 2016 model. It will only power on when AC power is connected. No response from power button when disconnected. The white power LED on the MLB is on with AC disconnected. If I power on with AC connected, then remove the power, the MacBook will remain on. I have attempted SMC and PRAM reset, to no avail. Does anybody have any insight? at long last, i was unable to isolate any differences between the mb12 logic boards....

Chosen Solution I installed a new battery, it’s a Newertech NuPower Battery. After installing laptop wouldn’t start. Took apart again, re-checked connections, still nothing. I re-installed old battery, still nothing. I did the SMC reset, and it started. After a few minutes I shut down and tried re-starting and nothing. The SMC reset did nothing. I will add that we were having problems with trackpad. I detached the 2 cables, than realized I didn’t have the right screwdriver....

Chosen Solution I got an IPhone 4s 64gb off EBay, Just a cracked LCD. I open it and it’s water damaged, I cleaned it and this is all I can find, a missing component near the digitizer and LCD connecters. What is it and how do I get one? Thanks so much in advance!! Chosen Solution Hello, I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy A5 2016. My problem is that Mobile Data won’t work. This only started happening recently, I enable Mobile Data and it just starts connecting and disconnecting. I tried resetting Network Settings, and even Factory Reset my phone. But there it still happens. Thank you in advance. Flashing or upgrade phone to latest version,Backup important data before doing that operation.

Chosen Solution I’m so frustrated. I bought an iPhone 8 plus second hand. The seller informed me it doesnt stay charged. I bought it, then check it out. It only turns on when plugged in, and even then it will turn off after about 1 minute. If taken out of the charger, it immediately turns off. I ordered a brand new charge port, I replaced it. It STILL doesnt work! I’m so frustrated right now....

Chosen Solution Hi, i have a problem with my iphone 8 plus. Some time ago i accidently did hit the phones screen, not hard but it caused that it’s screen stopped working(The screen itself started flashing, then there was just half of it and it went black). I’ve checked if the flex cables are in place they seemed okay and nothing happened after that. I forgot about it and then today I did think of charging it as i reminded myself that the battery shouldn’t go to 0%....

Chosen Solution i have a ipod video and the middle button is pushed down and its hard to press the button so how do i fix the button. Take it apart using this guide The middle button has a few notches where it lines up with the click wheel, make sure that it does so. Also, check the logic board. There is a switch on the logic board that corresponds with the button....

Chosen Solution I ended up with an older Intel iMac (MA710LL) which was the low end model at the time with the Intel GMA 950 and lack of Bluetooth built in. I was curious if a Bluetooth reciver can be added to this model either internally or is there a USB option? Would love to use a wireless KB and Mouse as well as be able to sync my phone without fumbling around with USB cables....

Chosen Solution So my phone fell from my bed and the screen was torn completely apart, the camera, LCD and touchribbons burse because the two frame screws was missing from the bottom which holds the screen in place. Keep in mind that after the fall the phone still rings because the battery was not disconnected. after about two weeks i bought a new screen and install it but the phone doesn’t work but i think the battery is bad too....

Chosen Solution Was sent FedEx address label to print off and send Fitbit back. Couldn’t print and FedEx said because I had tried to print they couldn’t bring up label. Could you sent another label for FedEx to download to be able to mail back for replacement. Thank you Terry, no we can not send a FedEX lable ifixit does not sell or repair Fitbit watches. Chosen Solution Hi Help please can someone tell me why our Lawn tracktor keeps shuting off after about a min. Or two ? Once it is cool down it will start back up again. Just before it shuts down some blue smoke come out of the Eng area. We have a 13 horse power craftsman Briggs Stratton (model) 28m707. Type 0 142-01. Chosen Solution I recently replaced the glass and digitizer (pre installed package). Now, after reassembly, the screen does not respond as it should. When I try to touch a particular app, the app to the left of the one I touched is activated. I can’t even activate the botoom apps. Any suggestions? Do I need to replace the LCD? It is not your LCD. This is usually caused by your digitizer....
