Chosen Solution The connecting wire of the mouse to my laptop, touched a little water. (me stupid connected it straight to my laptop) Did the wire burn? or does it have a fuse in the mouse? Dominic Michaelides Theres no fuse or safety chips in side the mouse and since the use dongle is wet 1- you may damaged the laptops motherboard because of shortcircuit connection( dry the port and try sth else like flash drive to see if the usb is working…or not ) 2 the mouse it self might be dead because of shortcircuit btw positive /negative and data wires....

Chosen Solution Is there a breakdown of canon a550 lcd screen layers.I only replaced glass and it does work but I believe I got one of the plastic layers wrong looking for help. You can’t disassemble and hope to reassemble an LCD screen - it needs to be replaced as a unit if faulty.

Chosen Solution Bare with me haha. So I am getting into fixing iPhones, and I started practicing on an old iPhone 6. I’m pretty sure the battery has been replaced bc it doesn’t have an Apple logo. Anyways, when I was practicing reconnecting the display, it showed glitched white vertical lines. I simple reseated the lcd cables and that fixed it. But the next time I reconnected the screen, the same white bars showed up, the only difference was no matter how many times I replugged the cables, it was the same glitches every time....

Chosen Solution Inspiron 11-3147 2-in-1 Can the keyboard be replaced on the palmrest and keyboard assembly unit of this specific model? It is a laptop/tablet with touch screen. The display can bend 180 degrees to fold back against the base for tablet mode. The Dell support website for the laptop lists a part for just the keyboard, but the Dell Owner’s manual does not detail the removal of the keyboard. I have a a replacement keyboard to install, but I hesitate to remove the keyboard from the “palmrest and keyboard assembly” unit if the manual does not list this procedure....

Chosen Solution I popped off the fan logic board connector instead of sliding out the ribbon connector from the fan. Is this replaceable or do I have to get a whole new logic board? (I spilled coffee on this beast, and broke it in the process of trying to clean it up. double damage depression.) @markbookpro it is absolutely not necessary to replace your logic board; this is very easily repairable for someone who does microsoldering repair....

Chosen Solution Alright, this it the answer. Problem is solved: (for clarification: mousepad is a member in macrumors forums) Alright guys. So in case anyone is interested, here is the documentation. When Mr. mousepad told me to measure some points on the top side of the logic board I had to unplug several connectors since it’s impossible to make the measurements with keyboard and HD cable etc plugged in. So with only the battery, Trackpad and fan left (iirc) , I shorted the power on pads to power on the machine and at first I even didn’t realize that the machine turned on, since there was no display attached I relied on the fan noise which used to spin at 6200rpm ....

I noticed some broken solder mask and broken traces but i know those traces are not important because they go to the battery compartment. But i need to know why wont it start. Chosen Solution When replacing the cracked screen on my Iphone 5 the small non-magnetic screw dropped down into the small cavity just below it . I continued the repair and when I returned to retrieve it was gone ? It is not in my work area could it get into/under the logic board ? It’s possible that it wedged it’s way under the logic board. The bottom side of the logic board has a complete and physical shield so there shouldn’t be any danger of contacting the electronics....

Chosen Solution I have two iphone 8 plus’s. One of them is CDMA, but i dont know what the other one is. Would it be possible to take out the CDMA 8 plus’s motherboard and put it in the other 8 plus? Size and shape are the same regardless they’re Gsm or Global version, not a problem to swap them.
