Chosen Solution As the title the kindle is frozen at the charge battery screen. I tried charging it for more than 24 hours without any result. I also noticed that the notification light does not turn on at all the hard reset also did not do anything. Could it be the battery or the screen ?I tested the charging port and it seems to be ok. Chosen Solution Can someone please confirm if an OWC HDD Sensor is still needed when using a Samsung 850/860 Pro with the 27 Late 2015 27? I’ve actually already installed it as I was doing a test and fans are operating perfectly and is even registering a SSD temp properly in iStat menu. Possibly this was updated in High Sierra? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It is possible that the drive you pulled was a Samsung, therefor negating the need for the OWC sensor....
Chosen Solution I’ve fitted screens for 7 years. And fitted a Lenovo tablet screen. But the touch is working upside down? Screen obviously fits one way, bought another and same thing? Any ideas? Hi @dibbley I had this same issue with the old Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 where the touchscreen would be flipped or would mirror from the center line. The only way I fixed it was to get a replacement part that matched the model number on the original digitizer cable....

Chosen Solution Today, my Kenmore 110.92596100 washing machine started making a loud metallic clicking/ratcheting noise when agitating. There are no abnormal noises during filling or spinning, just during agitation. The agitator dogs were replaced a few months ago, for the first time since new (about 25 years) and appear to still be operating as they should. Chosen Solution have to replace a broken Samsung screen to a MacBook. I have a LG or AUO screen . I know the incompatibility of the LVDS cable. Should I just use a cable for LVDS CHI MEI, LG or AUO, right? Replacing the video cable with one that has a different connector may be possible, but I’d be wary of doing such an experiment, unless it’s just something you want to try out of curiosity, etc....

After I’ve done that couple of times, I realized that the speaker doesn’t work. In oredr to talk to someone, I either use headphones (so annoying) or speaker phone function. It’s like my phone has a mind of it’s own every time I press something it will completely bug out and press a bunch of random different things. I’ll tap on the message app and I’ll go to send something to my friend and I’ll click on my mum one, come out of my mum’s thing go onto someone else’s and I don’t know what’s going on....

You have multiple candidates, starting with firmware corruption as mentioned by @lkfrmda6 . Keep in mind though a DFU restore will delete all data, so i would suggest an update first in recovery mode (hold home button and insert cable to prompt to boot, keep holding home until you see the connect to itunes screen, press update in itunes)....

They wanted to replace the whole computer and I declined their repair proposal. Now I got the computer back and it seems to work. So is this correct? :P Yes, you’re right, they are the same for mid 2009 until the non retina A1278 i5 manufactured until recently. Just do mind the shape, cause Us/international is different from the Uk/european qwerty version, different keyboard and of course palmrest too....
