Chosen Solution My MacBook - 1.83 GHz (core 2 duo) MacBook 13" will not boot up. No desktop appears, only a blue screen, with the cursor. Also, I’d try booting into option mode, by holding down the option key as you boot. If you get to the option menu, this is evidence that the computer is likely fine, but that it’s just having a problem finding a bootable device, which is probably why it’s stuck on a blue screen....
Chosen Solution MagSafe connector heats up really bad, why is that? I too have the problem of the 85W Magsafe 1 connector getting scaldingly hot charging the MBP either when its on and open or when its closed and hibernating. The connector is cool when charging powered down. To eliminate Magsafe problem, I test with new original piece - same results. Battery is new. Of the 5 pins inside the (Old) Magsafe connector and the DC-in Board (where the Magsafe magnetically connects to the MBP) the 1st and last pins are black, and not shiny brass....

Chosen Solution If I were to take my hard drive from my 2009 MacBook Pro without formatting it and put it in a newer computer, that isn’t an Apple product, would I run into any problems with the OS? That won’t work ;-{ Only another Mac system can boot up under this drive. You can read the files if you have the required driver to access the drive (in windows). The newer APFS file system is not accessible at this time....

Based on what the customer described, I believe the charging system on motherboard must be shorted. I removed both the Tigris and Tristar chips, the phone was able to turn on properly. Chosen Solution I bought a broken iPhone 6 on eBay for the sole purpose of using the logic board to fix my iCloud locked iPhone 6. The phone was extremely damaged, the top 10% or so almost looked shredded. The logic board looked intact, however it slightly bends down on the border of the display connectors and the motherboard, about 20 degrees or so. I installed the logic board, charged it for a while, and it was recognized in iTunes, but I could make out nothing....

After lots of troubleshooting, I deduced that the computer is not able to read the proper RPM of the left fan (very low 0-200 RPM), hence it operates the fan at the highest speed as a fail-safe precaution. Now I am wondering, if this reading failure is stemming from a logic board issue or fan issue....
Chosen Solution My Kenmore front loading washer will agitate and drain but won’t do final spin which leaves the clothes dripping wet. There is also a buzzing noise when it’s trying to do the final spin but not anytime other than that. The belt looks in great shape, the machine still agitates, just won’t do it normal fast spin at the end. Could this be the wax motor part of the door locking mechanism?...
