Chosen Solution I got a toshiba laptop running windows 10 from my dad last Christmas and within 2 months it broke. My dad repaired it but I broke again and then I repaired it. Again it broke this is when neither of us could fix it and my dad (who has the exact same laptop as me and has never had any problems) created a boot of his laptop on a usb and sent my laptop and usb to toshiba who then fixed it and again it broke within weeks....

Replaced the HDD with a Toshiba 500GB drive 2.5", installed a new system 10.8. Couple of months later, laptop came back, working very very slow, taking lots of time to react to right-mouse click, double click on video and it hardly plays. Chosen Solution i bought a used macbook pro 15" mid 2010 on ebay a few days ago, it only boots when i do the smc bypass trick where you hold the power button while plugging it in, if i reset the smc it doesn’t boot. trying to power it on normally does absolutely nothing, fans dont spin or anything but the charging led does turn on. EDIT (12/14/2022) i think i could’ve found the problem, the battery in the macbook pro is dead, and i only have a 60w charger, and not the normal 85w charger....
Chosen Solution Recently picked up this iMac and tried to power it up; it turns on, the fans start spinning, and the sleep LED comes on, but the iMac doesn’t progress past this state. I’ve tried resetting the SMC and PRAM, but no luck. Removing the bezel, I can see the first three diagnostic LEDs are lit when the machine is powered on. The system doesn’t appear to be supplying power to USB peripherals, as I plugged in a keyboard/mouse and got no lights....

Pls help me regarding this. You have a hardware problem which must be addressed. The first thing to try is to remove and reinstall the memory. I’m not sure about this exact model, but the memory is most likely installed under a trap door on the bottom of the machine....
Chosen Solution I have a late 2012 iMac 27’ desktop (EMC 2546). I tried upgrading my memory with 4 SK Hynix 8GB 2Rx8 PC3L 12800s (serial # HMTHMT41GS6AFR8A-PB). When I turned on my Mac I got the 5 beeps and black screen signal at startup, suggesting that I’ve got an issue with my memory modules. I read somewhere that iMac’s are real finicky about which modules it will accept. I tried to do some research on the internet and though I did expand my knowledge on memory modules, I still can’t tell if the ones I installed are compatible or not....
