Chosen Solution I’ve upgraded the cpu of my mac mini and the Ram. The very first boot went fine, the system started (Os X Tiger) and cpu and ram have been detected correctly, but after less than a minute it suddenly power down. I’ve neve been able to power it up again. No fan, no light, no chime nor video. I can’t smell anithing strange, there is no sound at all....
Chosen Solution So I bought a 13” Macbook Air with an 820-3437 logic board that the owner said the backlight went out so he took it to a shop to have the backlight fuse replaced. Well I guess the shop replaced the fuse, doing a poor soldering job at that but also rendered the computer unresponsive. i get a solid PPV342 but PPBUS is oscillating between 8.6 and 7 volts. I hear a ticking sound around the SMC area....

One problem that I noticed right away was that when it was discharging from full, the percentage would plummet and hang around the 2%-7% range for about an hour. Chosen Solution I was normally using the Mac mini with an external HDMI to VGA monitor then suddenly the monitor started showing vertical lines. On a restart it showed Green Apple logo and then permanent white screen without login screen. I have backed up all my data to external USB by booting in User mode so the internal HDD is working properly. I think the graphics card has failed. Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve had an iPad mini come to me which has been dropped and a complaint that the replacement digitizer doesn’t work. On inspection, there seems to be a missing surface mount component which has been dislodged and mislaid. Can anyone identify the component? that is normal–those solder pads are placeholders and do not hold a component. If it is an aftermarket digitizer presoldered assembly, the aftermarket touchscreen ic would be my first suspect....
Chosen Solution when trying to open camera, motor runs, but the lens will not extend then the motor shuts off. help bubbylady, The very delicate gears that drive/extend the lens may have become worn, out of alignment or damaged and the lens assy. may need to be replaced. I will post a guide below to show how the lens can be accessed so you can check it out and replace if needed....
Chosen Solution So, about a month a go i bought a Samsung 850 EVO (1TB) . Suddenly my new SSD starts to boot very slow and at some point will freeze up my laptop. Chosen Solution iphone 7 will NOT reset or communicate w/ itunes. LOST password. I have done the side button, volume down reset several times. No luck. Phone is disabled. Do not have pass code. Will not communicate with itunes. Need to reset, restore, wipe out phone. No backups. Fully turn off the phone by holding the power button and then swipping to power off. Once the phone is off, click and hold the volume button, do not click the power button, plug the phone into the computer....

Please suggest me the solution for it. umesh thapa, if your iPod does not produce, or produces scratchy sound consistently, I believe that the fault is with your audio IC. There are places that do the repair on the logic board, if you do not want to change IC’s yourself :-) Of course, you can replace the board which might be anywhere between $45-100...
Chosen Solution I was playing minecraft and tried to swipe up to play music and that didn’t respond, so I tried double tapping home button and that didnt work so I started playing around to see what it would respond to and I could stiull play minecraft and everything and suri still worked but when I pressed lock button screen turned off like supposed to and suri still works and all but nothing else does also it wont turn back on....
Chosen Solution Since it seems that you know your fair share on the subject Im going to ask you. I have a Samsung TV that displays lines a short time after being turned on. If I turn it off and wait some time, when I turn it on it takes like 40 minutes or so for the lines to appear, and once the lines are there they get worse over time....
Chosen Solution Found Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport on street. Back was off, battery out, screen completely cracked. Probably had been run over, maybe some rain too. Have never tried a fix like this. Possible? Worth it? Honestly, probably not. You can purchase this phone used between $75 and $125 in most cases and the LCD replacement alone will cost you that. By the time you invest several hours of labor, the “Mid” housing, back housing, battery, charging port… you are still unsure of the Logic boards condition, FRP (Factory Reset Protection), IMEI status, etc… But if interested in repairing phones, you could always take it apart, properly clean the good parts and save it as a Donor board for future repairs....
Chosen Solution I see RAM and GPU are all built into the M1 chip, so you can’t upgrade after getting your original, expensive, Apple upgrade options. But what about the storage? Will the computer design allow it to be upgraded later by user when third parties start manufacturing the drives? Sorry there is no internal upgradability in any of the newer MacBook Air/Pro’s! The last fully upgradable MacBook Pro was the 2012 unibody models, the 2012 through 2015 retina models only offered a serviceable SSD drive, RAM was soldered!...
Chosen Solution my phone is stuck in headphone mode Hi @rakesh2017 , If the phone is displaying the headphone icon regardless of whether the headphones are in or not you may have a faulty headphone socket. If it doesn’t clear by inserting / removing the headphone plug a few times then most probably it will have to be replaced. If you want to really enjoy your phone, buy a used original from disassembly. They can be purchased at auction sites around the world....
