Chosen Solution Hi, When I update my macbook air 13,3 from 2009 (1.6 dualcore - 80GB hard drive) to the latest update that allows me to install Lion, it freezes and shows me this. http://prntscr.com/dfe9c9 Then I have to reboot. Could this be related to the graphic card, or the disc is damaged? Really looking forward to receiving your help! Yes looks like a GPU issue unfortunately. The 2008 and 2009 Macbook Airs have a lot of issues with the GPU and RAM, so I would recommend just selling it on eBay for parts....

Chosen Solution So it looks like I shorted my Dell latitude E6410 and was wondering if the hard dive was still good? Could I simply buy the same laptop and put in the old hard drive and all of my things will be saved? Thanks You can have a laptop motherboard short out without it affecting the hard drive. I f you purchase the exact laptop with exact model # and specs you should have no problem swapping hard drives....

So for all intents and purposes, no it is not user upgradeable. Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve had my laptop nearly 2 years, running windows 7 for the past year. Suddenly it seems that when I plug the laptop in to charge it hibernates. It can be at 50% charge and suddenly hibernate. I’ve restored the system, tried running off AC without battery etc. When I turn hibernation off it wi randomly turn off instead (no warning). My partner recently dropped my laptop bag with the laptop in it, after which the problems began....

Chosen Solution My washer will not drain … could you tell me what it could be? @button if the washer won’t drain water the drain pump might be defective. It’s also common for a small sock or other article of clothing to get caught in the drain pump or in the drain hose. Check both for an obstruction before replacing the pump. I would remove the drain plug from the filter at the water pump....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 7+ and For the last 2 days my phone is playing up. People ring me and my phone rings but a lot of the time when I answer it it’s just blank nothing can be heard and then my phone drops out, very occasionally I am able to have a normal phone call where I can hear. Also my camera seems to be having an issue, I try to take a photo and it seems laggy, and I try to put it on to record a video and it doesn’t work....

Chosen Solution My laptop use has increased from moderate to heavy use during quarantine and it has started slowing down, freezing and requiring a reboot much more often in the past month. Interestingly, this happens much more often using Finder, Messages & Google Chrome than theoretically more CPU-intensive programs like Ableton & Adobe Premiere. Startup seems to have gotten notably slower as well. I understand that many MBPs of this vintage still function well so I’m looking for ways to keep this thing running for a while more....

Chosen Solution I have done an iPhone 6 housing replacement and it went smoothly. I am clumsy and have had to replace the screen 5 times. I installed the newest one two days ago. I was on Snapchat and used it then locked it. Then the brightness was on full and I could barely see anything (and auto brightness was off). It randomly went back to normal after 30 minutes. Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I just open up my iMac after I have issues this morning. I noticed that LED #1, LED #2 are on, then LED #3, #4 , #5 are off. The fan starts and blow cold air and after it becomes hotter. Naturally, screen is dark and no sound becomes. Chosen Solution message says lens error, restart camera how do you restart camera To restart the camera, just switch it off and on again. Or remove the battery, replace and switch on again. Unfortunately that rarely clears the dreaded lens error. Has the camera suffered any kind of accident? Does the lens open at all? If the lens is sticking this can sometimes be due to dirt between the lens barrel sections....

Chosen Solution I have a iPad Air 2 that keeps looping when powered on. Sometimes it show 100% battery then a few seconds later it shows the battery is drained. I know it’s the logic board. if I replace the logic board does it have to be the exact same one? Meaning if I have a 64GB LTE now do I have to get the same one for it to work....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Air had its main logic board replaced a few weeks ago. After I got it back, it was crashing all the time whilst using the internet browser etc. I decided to wipe the laptop and try to reinstall from new. When it boots, it boots to a folder with a question mark, then I press command and R, it loads to internet recovery fine, no crashing. I get to disk utilities and I press on reinstall OS X and I get so far to pressing reinstall but it then crashes and the only way to turn it off is to fully shut it down....

Chosen Solution After liquid spill, there were some water inside when opened up the laptop. The battery was dead and no where else showed liquid damage (red sticker). Cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to be sure. At first it was fine turning on but found the battery dead so ordered new battery. After changed to new battery it was hard to turn on but when finally got it turned on, trackpad/keyboard wouldn’t work....

Chosen Solution will this work on a 17’ ? Dominick, checked the parts and came up with different inverter #’s, so my guess would be they are not interchangeable. See link to parts at ifixit below.
