Chosen Solution Does the iFixit forum have their own version of a full step-by-step guide to fixing the broken hinge issue with the late 2013 27” iMacs? I am not looking for a machack fix where you are required to fit an additional clamp between the screen and the stand. I would like to fix the hinge so that the tilt can operate as it should. But at the same time, I do not want to take it to Apple only to be charged an exorbitant price....

Chosen Solution Ok, so one day I decided to tear down my google pixel so I can change the battery (It needed to be done). While taking out the top portion of the screen, I had dug in far too much and cracked the LCD screen in several points. Chosen Solution This is another project ,I have a 42lg5000 tv which when first turned on has a very thin green line vertically on left side and a dark shadow on the right half of screen even though can still see picture there and picture on full screen, when i leave it on after 10-15 mins and not touched or moved it the picture goes ok and has good picture with being able to watch it all night with no bother ....

It was a problem on one side only at first, but it’s getting worse with a half inch between the lid and the body of the machine. I opened it up and removed the screen. I’ve found that one hinge is moveable with my fingers alone. The other is so tight it needs a wrench to move....

Chosen Solution I have a 80 in Sharp smart tv model number LC-80UQ17U. There is horizontal lines that move in a upward direction on the tv and the color on the tv is distorted. Would a defective T-con be causing this? What other information could help diagnose the issue? When I mess around with the settings like the Hertz I’m able to make the lines less noticeable and the color is also slightly better....

Chosen Solution Hi, while working some time on battery MacBook suddenly restarts and the battery indicator after restart drops to 3% of charge. The battery information says that the battery needs service with 884 charge counts and its full battery capacity 4908 mAh. What cause MacBook to restart occasionally that way? Thanks. A bad battery will cause this.

Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro randomly freezes and shut downs without any reason. It always happens like this: suddenly everything in the screen is frozen, cannot move the mouse. If the music is playing, it stops, but the screen is not black, it shows everything, just frozen. The fans start to make a loud sound and after ~10 seconds the computer shuts down. After this when the computer is booted up again, all the applications, which were previously open, are opened, everything is in the same state as before the freeze....

Phone has had some work done to it screen replaced and camera replaced It sounds like the lower microphone is not working. Chosen Solution My son purchased 2 galaxy s8+ for him and his girlfriend before he was deployed to Iraq! 2 months after he was deployed his girlfriend cheated on him and I made her give the phone back! It’s been in my kitchen drawer since then! Chosen Solution Recently my LX-100 screens gain is excessive causing watercolors effect. If I bump the camera things return to normal. I cleaned battery & camera contacts but didn’t help. Screens have an orange(ish) tint when this happens. Also Menu text is hard to read until you bump the camera. Seems something internal is loose or poor contact.? I have searched online with no results…hoping someone has an answer. Feel free to contact me (above) with any suggestions…no warranty yet want to fix the camera....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, since 2 weeks my phone is searching for service, and it seems it isnt a software problem. Delete the iphone, and doing a recovery gave me a signal in the first try. But i was unable to get any service when i tried it a second time. I did not drop the phone, that problem just occured out of nowhere. Switching Airplane Mode on/off does nothing at all....

Chosen Solution I was looking through a bunch of old stuff and found an iPod. I plugged it in and it took 2 hours to actually turn on. It dies in about an hour or 2 and the iPod makes a very soft click when it turns on or tries to play a song after sitting for awhile. EDIT: I tried went to replace the hard drive and the battery was poofy (for loss of a better word)....

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2011 Mac Mini 2.5GHz i5 with AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB I was told that newer versions of macOS do not throttle down video resolutions or other demands on the graphics GPU automatically, and that this is causing excessive and undo wear resulting in failure of the GPU. Has anyone else heard this? Is there a way to limit GPU demands manual, but within the OS not say site by site?...

I usually use heat to loosen the glue from the battery, what i’m wondering is if i can use some isopropanol in the gaps to make the process faster and less stressfull on the battery by bending....
