Chosen Solution After foolishly using wd-40 to spray inside the motor through the top my fan instantly started making what sounds like metal on metal grinding. It’s 100% the motor because I did this with everything off(blades, globe, casing) I don’t want to have to take apart the motor to fix it but if i have to I will. I didn’t want to throw more wd-40 or 3 in 1 oil at the problem to try fixing it....

Thanks in advance! Not possible. The processors used on that computer are 1st generation Intel processors that use a different generation motherboard and different CPU socket. You would need to do basically a new PC build as the only parts compatible when upgrading to a better PC would be only the hard drive and peripherals such as keyboard, mouse and monitor most of the time....
