Chosen Solution Hello there, I have a 2015 MacBook air 13" (A1466) with a 128GB SSD but i need more storage. On the internet i saw a 256GB SSD from a 2012 MacBook air 13" (A1466). Will the SSD fit in my 2015 MacBook air? Or there are limitations? No it won’t fit, you can use SSDs from 2013-2015 in the 2015 models, although the 2015 ones are slightly faster (average user will not notice a difference)
Chosen Solution The machine itself will not power on. I have tried an SMC reset, but it had no effect. I’ve tried multiple chargers in all available ports, and there is no change. I’ve disconnected the battery and attempted to power on with the charger connected, but there is no response. Attached is an image of the voltage being sent from the charger. It would seem that the machine is not drawing enough voltage to power on properly....

Chosen Solution I have a 15" mid-2009 Macbook Pro. The tip of a pair of headphones broke off in the microphone jack and now I have no audio. With the MB Pro turned on, a small red light comes from the jack, but I assume this is the jack trying to “connect” to an external device. I assume I’d have to open up the MB Pro as per instructions here and remove the microphone, then either try to dislodge the tip or else replace the part itself....
Chosen Solution Hi Guys. My MacBook Air 13" Mid 2013 A1466 is having an issue with the back light. The display is very dim. Everything else works fine including driving an external display. On closer inspection the fuse seems to be the problem. I have access to a soldering iron. Could some kind soul help me identify these parts. Thx in advance. Chosen Solution Hi everyone,my iPhone 6 mute button switches and stays in place properly but it does not cause a vibration anymore, nor does it actually mute the phone. However, the vibrator works fine: it activates as intended when the phone rings or during alarms/timers. Before this happened, the vibration response of the mute button had been gradually getting flakier over time, requiring me to either press stronger on the button to obtain it or even to help it by tapping slightly on the phone’s frame....

Waiting only 1 minute is not long enough for the iMac to power up after unplugging and replugging in the AC power cord....
Chosen Solution I have a Super Nes and for the life of me don’t know if to trash or see if there is any way to replace the ac adapter port lakersrivera you’ll need to do some disassembling and soldering, but overall not a terrible tough repair. check this video. Replacement parts are available at places like this Just order a replacement ac power port on ebay. Check youtube for how to install it videos....
Chosen Solution My iPhone 5 is empty. But as soon as I charge it, it boots up without me pressing a button. It shows the Apple logo for ~5 seconds and then shuts off. It shows the empty battery. Then it boots up again. This cycle keeps happening as long as I have it plugged in. Anybody know a fix? Looks like the Phone is not detecting battery, or your battery is really bad, 90% sure that you need a new Battery....
Chosen Solution I just got my 7000$ package with iphone 6 and iphone 5s screens seized by customs. There is no logos on the screens but the customs says i am violating Apple trademark. Has someone here been up to same problem? Is it illegal with aftermarket parts for iPhone? I did get an letter from Apples lawyer where it said something like “Accept that those screens will be destroyed otherwise we will sue your ass”....
Chosen Solution I bought recently an iPhone 6 for really cheap, it was working great and everything, and after 3 days it lost signal (searching or no service). It stays like that for days than it gets back. So I got this idea to bake logic board in the oven on 196 degrees C (385 F) for 7 minutes. I let it cool down for an hour, assembled the phone and tried to turn it on but it wont turn on, it doesnt vibrate nor show the apple logo....
Chosen Solution Im currently using Lenovo 720S , 13 inch. its my first time to use an ultrabook. anyhow ive used laptops before with backlit keyboard that you can customize to turn it off 30-second to 360 seconds if not being used or simply idle depending on your settings. now the funny thing is that the keyboard lights of my laptop can’t be customized or simply just stay always on all the time even if im idle though you can certainly turn it off manually....
Chosen Solution I have this laptop and it has a celeron 1.6ghz duel core processor and 4GB of ram that’s not upgradable. It has a 500GB 5400 rpm hard drive. I haven’t tested the hard drive speed yet but it’s already slow. I’m thinking to put macOS on it. Will 4GB and a 250GB SSD be enough for Mac to run? Yes a SSD is MUCH faster then a 5400 RPM drive, most desktop drives are 7200 RPM so it is even slower then those....
Chosen Solution Can I use the keyboard from a 14" model with a 12" iBook? Or are the connectors different somehow? The plug is the same, and it will work, however due to the cable being longer, you’ll have to sort of fold and smash it underneath. For the most part this works acceptably, but sometimes over time keys stop working, etc., due to the folded cable and the wires getting crimped/cracked....
Chosen Solution Per the Laptop Repairability Scores page, the Latitude E5270 is a 10/10. I was browsing online for a used laptop, where I saw the Latitude E7470 for a helluva deal ($1300 CAD), but I’m wondering if it’s equally as repairable. Does anyone have experience with this? If it is, I may just pull the trigger on this and send my early 2013 MBP in for a battery replacement (I need a competent computer while my MBP’s in the shop, and there’s no way I’m replacing that battery myself)....

I have cleaned every orfice on the unit, including blowing out hoses inside the unit,.Works great if you only want hot water. Chosen Solution my laptop wont turn on unless plugged in and “charging”. laptop indicates it is fully charged and will cut all power once unplugged I use it on a daily basis for work and its not good having it plugged in for 6+ hours a day on full charge That is usually a bad battery. Chosen Solution my camera sometimes says lens obstruction when it is on and shuts off. there is a small scratch on the lens. is this causing it? cindy tozer the obstruction refers to the lens extending or extracting. The scratch on the lens is most likely not responsible for that. We could probably provide you with a more detailed answer if you tell us what model your camera is.
Chosen Solution Hi I have an LG g2, what happened is I connected it to my laptop to transfer pictures, I realized that it was slowly wiping pictures I disconnected it, next morning the phone was wiped clean. During the day it switched of and never came on. No charging lite nothing. Does sound like a software thing. I would try holding down the power button and the volume down button....
Chosen Solution I have LG 49UB850T model and suddenly while watching tv display turned bad. Started showing vertical lines on display. I contacted a tv repair guy and he said its because of bad TCON board. If somebody can help me find out whats the real issue it would be really appreciated. Please check the image and the video for the issue. @abhi98228 yes this could be the T-con board but could also be the main board and ,even so less likely, the panel....
