Chosen Solution Hi guys, I’ve been reading a lot and fixing macbook’s and iphones with trial and error over the years. So I now have a macbook A1502 with water damage. Got the motherboard out, inspected it, cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol. The mac boots up but shows the screen of empty battery. The charger won’t light up so I think the fault is in the DC board. Am I right in thinking that if I buy a new DC board the laptop will perfectly fine...

Chosen Solution I just got this 2015 MacBook Air with a coffee spill. Upon internal inspection, there was definitely some coffee near the trackpad and battery, and by the IO board as well. The only moisture indicator that was red was the one on the flex cable connecting the IO board to the MLB. Chosen Solution Hello, I have a MacBook Air (2015 early) and the WIFI connection is HORRIBLE. I also have a Dell laptop used exclusively for my job. I can have both on my desk and the Dell connects immediately and reliably to any WIFI connection, yet the MacBook Air has trouble connecting. If I am any reasonable distance from the router (within my own home) the Mac drops connection constantly where the Dell never drops....

Chosen Solution Can the display assembly from a MacBook Pro be transplanted to a MacBook aluminium unibody ? It will work but it wont go to sleep when you shut the lid. The reason for that is the placement of magnets in the display assembly. They most likely do it to prevent people from getting replacement parts for cheap=() they fit, but the magnet issue is the biggest one. has anyone figured out how to move or add magnets?...

Chosen Solution Hello i have changed my iphone battery recently and my phone reboot when someone calls due to vibration , I replaced the battey which I thought it was the problem, i tried to manually vibrate in settings and the iphone rebooted . Try removing the vibrator/taptic engine to see if this solves the problem. It’s pretty rare for the taptic engine to fail but it’s worth a try.

Chosen Solution I was watching Youtube when this started happening. It’s had some weird graphics issues in the past (horizontal green lines), but this seems different. Is this a GPU issue or a display issue? My initial thought is display. Especially based on the bands of “normal” in between. These stripes almost certainly align with the cabling inside the display. You can see what I mean a bit in this photo from a 13" model with the bottom bezel (where the MacBook Pro branding is) removed....

Chosen Solution hi, just trying ( a little unsuccessfully) to open and fix this camera but am running into problems with taking leads off from logic board etc. some of the leads are quite straight forward and i can flip up little black strips and then pull out the lead. however there are several small white connectors which i can’t find on any guides here. they look like they just pull up…....

Chosen Solution three days ago, my screen started to flicker and the bottom of the screen began to dim with gray triangles appearing across the screen. I took this to mean that I was having problems with the LED back light power supply. After 5 minutes, the screen went totally blank. I can barely make out the what is on the screen so the system is still working. Since I bought a service agreement, I called Apple and they immediately sent me a box....

Chosen Solution Thanks for reading. The above tv had faulty led strip. Stripped the tv and removed the strip to find there is no part number etc on the board. Searched online and contacted Samsung via live chat but cannot find out which part i require. Would anyone know the part or where to purchase please i will be eternally grateful. Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve been trying to make my own iPhone 7 plus or 7(I still haven’t decided). I want a logic board (that is less than 100 $). But I just didn’t seem to get one that cheap. However I saw an unlocked iPhone 7 plus logic board for just 90$ in AliExpress. The seller claims it’s original!! Is it safe to buy?? No, could have some other problem on the board such as liquid damage / audio IC fault etc....

Chosen Solution Is the fan of 2014 same as the fan of 2010 meaning can I use the 2010 fan to install on 2014 Mac min? From my testing this does not appear to be possible because they have a different style for mounting but amazon is a great source the fans cost like 13-22 dollars

Chosen Solution main board where connector plugs in broken connector board after connector broke off. I was trying a memory and drive upgrade, 8gb and a 250gb ssd. I used the iFixit disassembly steps, but I referred to the Apple Dollar video for tips in reassembly. Plugged the new power supply, pressed the power button and … nothing, no fan and no picture. Before disassembly I at least got the beep for no memory....

Chosen Solution I have a 2009 Mac Pro which worked well for a few months. Then I chose to take it apart to clean it out and add a HDD and when I put it all back together, it wouldn’t send a signal to my monitor. The fans all run normally, except the fans on the GPU (original NVIDIA 120 GT) which are louder than usual. I connected the gpu to my monitor using a mini diplayport to hdmi as I usually do, but get no signal on the monitor....
