Chosen Solution Tonight I made a second attempt to install a different logic board into a MacBook Core Duo that I’ve been working on. For background on this undertaking, see the details outlined in my question regarding the first attempt. I’m having the same issues as before, even with this second logic board, but I’ve noticed this time that the fan is working and the screen does indeed display that reassuring instantaneous white flash upon depressing the power button....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 8 randomly shut down and now won’t leave recovery mode every time I try to restore it. The phone disconnects from the pc right when the restore part is startin.g It’s not a cable issue as I’ve tried many and also have tried 2 different computers. I tried 3 different software versions as well as itunes and 3utools for flashing. Something about the restore part triggers the phone to disconnect....

Chosen Solution I fell asleep on facetime one night with my phone off the charger, woke up the next morning to it scorching hot. I put it in the freezer to cooldown (yes ik thats dumb of me) and ever since then it hasnt been hot. It just wont turn on. I got a new battery, put the new battery on top of the old one to see if that was the issue and it wasnt, the new battery makes the logicboard turn hot aswell....

Chosen Solution My iPhone SE won’t turn on. It did not get wet. Tried the usual tricks (i.e. multiple cables, chargers, held down power and home buttons for long time, verified no debris inside lightning port, etc). I expect something died inside. The phone was dropped plenty of times over the years (but in an otterbox) but no event seemed to come just before the failure. But, shaking the phone I did hear a little rattle....

Chosen Solution I got a iPhone 6S to repair, i Wont restore by DFU and it stay stuck at the apple logo and only showing like half of the lcd somethimes more sometimes less. I tried mutiple screens I the gpu broken? It appears this phone could have several problems. Do you know the history of the device (was it dropped, water damaged, bent, previous repair attempt, run over by a car ;>)?...

Chosen Solution Hello, I have an iPhone X which had a battery replacement, and was working fine until it randomly restarted and the battery percentage now shows as 0%. The battery health also shows as service, but before the restart it showed as 100%. It also randomly restarts, does anyone know what the issue may be? Chosen Solution Hey guys, I have an iPod with 128GB SSD. This morning it suddenly dropped dead. I tried to reset it and the Apple logo appeared: everything back to normal. But after about an hour when I pulled it out from my pocket it’s dead again. The screen turned completely white and even if I reset it it’s still white. Chosen Solution Brief History: Working all good for a few years. At one point the battery died. Never got to replace it but kept using the laptop with the battery unplugged. Which i assume may have been a bad idea. Nevertheless I used it for another year. I can not rememeber if the laptop stop working or i just got a new one. Had it boxed for a couple of years and I have decided to try and start it up....

Chosen Solution I have physical damaged on my iphone 8 plus logic board. The logic board is broken off around the wifi & camera connectors (where it T’s). Could I buy a ic locked board and switch my IMEI number to it? What companies could repair logic boards at a reasonable cost? Or does anyone have an idea to fix my problem easier. Are you looking for “Data” recovery from the device or just a working phone?...

Chosen Solution During the process of removing the lower case of my MacBook Pro in order to dust it off, I accidentally broke one of the clip that holds the case in and the metal hook for it went missing (pictures with and without hook attached). (without metal hook) (with metal hook) I believe this creates a small gap between the lower case on the right edge (looking from the back) and the chassis so it doesn’t sit flush (picture with and without gap attached)....

Chosen Solution Hello I don’t how to sum it up in the title … hopefully some people are reading this :-) I have got a MBP 13" late 2011 with 2.4GHz i5 CPU, 4 GB RAM, a SSD which has become a new LogicBoard because of the old one being broken. I installed Mavericks while having an external monitor connected and the MBP being closed (external keyboard and mouse, too). I disconnected the external monitor and now I got following behaviour: If I reboot the MBP, the grey screen appears, the Apple logo appears, then the screen goes black - it lights up again if I close the lid once (it comes up in blue for a second) and shows login screen....

Chosen Solution I was performing what should have been a simple C Stick replacement, but I goofed it up. I was following this teardown video but realized I could access the C Stick without removing the entire motherboard. I realized this after removing the first 3 ribbons as shown in the video. After replacing it I rebuilt it and replaced the ribbons. In doing so, the second and smallest ribbon removed seemed to have its clip damaged....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, several months ago I suddenly had issues with GPS being inaccurate and always giving a several miles radius circle when I am moving, and a much smaller circle when I am stationery. I recently attempted changing the F-shaped antenna cable behind the motherboard. However, When I was inspecting it before removing it I realised that one of the chip connectors (that is attached to the motherboard and allows the F antenna to clip onto the motherboard) was completely detached from the motherboard and stuck to the F antenna....
