Chosen Solution MacBook stopped charging the battery and will not work with AC power adapter only. MacBook notices the connected power adapter, but reports battery not charging. Adapter light stays green even when battery needs recharging. MacBook runs fine on battery power. Installed battery update 1.4. Checked the battery (Cycles 66, Condition: good; does charge on onther MacBook). Checked the AC adapter (works fine on other MacBook). Logic board failure? Any other thoughts?...

Chosen Solution Hey guys, So i have this Macbook Pro a1425, been using it daily displaying stuff in the office on the TV. I shut it down one day and then i couldn’t turn it on again, the only way to do it is to hold down power button while attaching the charger, then it turns on with high fans. I tried replacing the battery and the SMC controller, but then it couldn’t start up at all....

Chosen Solution it stop working because of the batteries. they go fast, so i bought rechargeable batteries and once they were fully charge ( i switched to the keyboard to be sure) i placed them on the Magic Tracktad, it does click but doesn’t move the pointer- it is a software issue or just simple a hardware malfunction? Go to the System Preferences under the Apple to Bluetooth and see if the trackpad is discoverable....

Chosen Solution I fell on top of my LX-5 on dry sand. The camera worked fine for a couple of weeks but then froze up. Nothing broken but the lens doesn’t project out. It looks as though the motor turns on but the gears can’t move. A message appears on screen telling me to turn the camera off and then on again, but that doesn’t help. During the two weeks, I took photos was well as videos; all perfectly fine....

Chosen Solution I have a Mid 2014 Macbook Pro 15 Retina. The Macbook Pro stopped working one day. When I investigated I noticed a burnt capacitor, and I removed it. The laptop started to work again and I have not noticed any problems with it at all. I have tested everything (CPU and GPU Stress tests, Memory diagnostics, Apple Hardware test, etc), and everything is fully working. That Capacitor is still missing though....

Chosen Solution My 2015 macbook was all fine. Then all of sudden it won’t charge. I went to Apple Store, they said they can repair it since it is under warranty, but the data will not be backed up. Then I open the back lid while charging it. I can only see the light that I circled in picture is on: Any guru here? I don’t need to fully fix the macbook charging issue, I will let Apple do that....

Chosen Solution Has anyone else seen the iPhone 7 home button stop working after only disconnecting the battery? At our shop we have been replacing screens on the iPhone 7 since December of last year. We have not had any problems with the home button becoming deactivated after a repair till about a month ago. We started seeing a few cases where the phone button would not function after putting on the new screen....

Chosen Solution my iPhone 7 (a1778) has started to only charge when it is completely turned off. battery health is at 76ish. whenever it is connected it shows the “unlock iPhone to use accessories”. Windows does detect it but is unable to recognize and interact with it. it says device descriptor request failed. it is not recognized in recovery mode either. it works fine other than this. i also don’t see any symptoms of loop disease....

Chosen Solution So i replaced all wifi, bluetooth antenas and covers ( three parts exactly), because they didnt work. I tought that would fix the problem but still the same. Wifi greyed out bluetooth spinning around and automatically setting time is not working. but here comes the WEIRD —>When i try to open settings –> About … the iPhone 7 just stucks freezes. if i press the home button it returns to the home without problems....

Chosen Solution iPhone 7 with new iFixit battery shows 20% and charging but it does not increase. The battery percentage decreases when unplugged. Other iPhone 7 battery charging answers suggest possible TriStar issue. Any other suggestion? I’m hesitant to buy another iFixit battery. After several hours of charging the battery, the percentage never exceeded 18. There was no damage to the iPhone prior to me replacing the bulging battery. I repeated the iFixit guide for replacing the battery and was extremely careful disconnecting and reconnecting components–as I was initially–and did not see anything loose....

Chosen Solution I bought a used 2010 MacBook Pro 17’ in Dec. its been upgraded to a 1 TB toshiba solid state hard drive. It has every know program you can think of including a complete WINDOWS operating system you can switch to- software alone is about 3 or 4 grand. Problem is mother board went. Is this worth fixing it. Will I encounter other problems. Before it went had a lot of overheating problems but turned out the first shop who claimed they fixed the mother board just a put a penny under the video card to get going....

Chosen Solution Ive been charging my akamate mp3 player and it wont charge @misterclan20 if it does not charge check the charger, the charging cable and finally the charger port on your player. If all of this looks good, replace the battery (my prime suspect for your device). After that re-evaluate.

Chosen Solution I have a Late 2008 Macbook (2.0ghz model, 160gb hhd, all original other than ram), which up until yesterday was working great. In hopes that I could boost the speed a little I upgraded the ram from (4+1) to (4+2) GB, and started the laptop up, and it registered the new ram and was working fine. I then went to start up in recovery mode to do a fresh OS reinstall, but instead of holding command-R I held option-R by mistake....

Chosen Solution Hello! I have replaced the digitizer on an iPad Air, and the top rows of pixels are grey after that. It is about half a centimeter of mostly gray pixels, but below that, the screen works just fine. What can have happened? Thanks! Probably didn’t connect it properly. Chosen Solution My 1.5 year old Keurig 2.0 coffee machine suddenly displayed a large black circle on the screen and won’t allow any touchscreen operation. It is only 1.5 years old. My goal at this point is to hack the phone back to life just long enough to do one final backup. At this point I have disassembled the phone and cleaned the salt residue off the board with a soft toothbrush and alcohol. Here’s a picture of the main board where the battery attaches....
