Chosen Solution Sir, I have a dell vostro 1550 model laptop, it is completely dead, only 19 volt comes, no indicator is turned on, can there be a problem? Is it posting, or doesn’t it show anything? It does sound like a voltage issues, I would up it to a higher level and see if it boots then. Also check out other methods, firstly try with a new cable and see if it helps....
Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore Elite gas dryer. I can give the model number upon request, but it flags the message as spam if I insert it in this question. The dryer turns on, the drum spins, the blower for the dust vent works, but the heat does not work. I have replaced the thermal fuse and the igniter, but the igniter still does not ignite. Any ideas for what to check / replace next?...

Chosen Solution I cleaned my laptop with Colin a general glass n stuffs cleaner liquid …then on starting up it initially made a white screen on Windows 10 startup I unplugged the laptop and booted again same thing occurred …the next time on it didn’t even show the BIOS screen on startup …but I can see the CPU lights blinking …and a little spank on the screen Hi! You might have liquid-damaged the screen when you cleaned it....
Chosen Solution The MBP in question had a soda spill last September. Finally got the correct logic board and replaced it this afternoon. Plugged it in, let it charge for about 30 minutes and tried to boot. Optical drive did its thing (mechanical noises), it made the happy MBP booting up noise (known in my home as the WALL-E sound), and stopped there. The keyboard backlight works, and the LED at the front right corner is turning on and off slowly....
Chosen Solution My roommate spilled water on it charging adapters goes green but screen won’t turn on it is in a thing of rice. What would you suggest doing? Remove the bottom cover, disassemble the logic board and clean with 95%+ isopropyl. Leave to dry, reassemble and try to boot it. If it is a newer model, try to boot it with only the DC jack and fan connected, it will auto boot when the charger is plugged in....

I had my book sitting on AC vent unit not sure if realveant however I have tried SMC reset a few times and another MagSafe connector neither worked. Chosen Solution yellow flame means that the gas is not burning efficiently and carbon mono oxide is produced. I like to fix it. First is this a decorative fireplace? if it is yellow is what you want not blue! Often the fake logs have chemicals within them to color the flame. If this is a furnace/boiler to heat your house then you are correct you don’t want too much yellow flame as it is less efficient....
Chosen Solution I accidentally tore the microphone cable going into the motherboard and the pins strip part is stuck inside. I have no idea how to remove something so small! How do I get it out? Solved. Any future idiot as dumb as me: the cable is just very thin and it folded over and got stuck on its own adhesive. Not damaged. You just have to peel it up.

Chosen Solution My phone got water damaged mysteriously this august when i left it at a friends house to charge. Now i must say it was water damaged a week before that due to it being in a wet backpack (which i already found wierd cuz how does an xr break after being in wet backpack for like 10 mins???). I got it repaired by just replacing the screen but one week later there was water under the screen again so i think the shop didn’t remove all of the water or something or maybe maybe my friend dropped it in water and doesn’t dare to tell which i doubt is the case....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to swap out the logic board from this MacBook Pro Touch Bar, Late 2016 with logic boards from newer models like a MacBook Pro Touch Bar 2017/18 since all the connecter placements are the same? There are differences between the 16/17 models from the 18/19 models. So going to the very newest is not possible. I haven’t even tried swapping out the newer TB systems around....

Chosen Solution I opened my laptop (vivobook s15 r542uq) to clean the fans. I unplugged keyboard and trackpad connectors and cleaned the fans and put it back together. Didn’t touch the battery. My laptop now won’t power up on battery, no lights nothing but if i would plug in the charger, it boots without pressing power. If I take out the cable, it dies instantly. I opened to check once more but can’t find anything....
Chosen Solution The lid of my laptop no longer latches. There are two posts on the lid which snap into recessed holes on the body. It seems there might be springs which grab the posts, but have lost their “springiness”. The posts no longer latch into place when I close the lid. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do in this circumstance; it’s a problem that most aging 6930’s see, and HP has since made design changes to improve the latching mechanism....

I’m wondering if there are 3rd party batteries, that aren’t Apple Manufactured, that actually are larger in capacity but identical in size. I mean, batteries HAVE evolved in capacity in the last 5 years and it stands to reason that the same sized battery would now carry larger charge....

I tried to disassemble again but i brooked lcd cable. So i ordered a new hoping that the cable was the problem from the start. Chosen Solution I have the Mac Pro early 2009, 8-core; CPU board has an old stain which appears to have been a leak, pretty large, on the surface of the right side. Is there liquid coolant in the heat sink? I can see a copper pipe in between the vanes. I thought liquid cooling was abandoned after the G5 problems. Machine still runs fine so I don’t know what to make of it or if I should replace the board....
