Chosen Solution I have a EAX64744301 power supply that stops sending the 80 volts to the backlight panel at about 15min of run time. The pins on the main connector to the logic board read normal except pin one that says it should be at 24 volts (labeled power on) and is at 3.3 volts when set is turned on. The TV back-light shuts off at about 15min then all pins go to 0 volts except for the 2 pins that read 3....
Chosen Solution Lotion accidentally managed to get inside my call speaker, so now I have to put my phone on speaker if I want to hear anything. It’s been a couple days now and I just wanted to know what I could do to clean the lotion out? Or just simply be able to hear out of the call speaker again. Chosen Solution I broke the little metal hinge that clips on to the lvds cable. Anybody have suggestions on what to do? Can you buy Lvds cables. I have found an antenna for an Early 2011 Macbook Pro 15". In the teardown guides, all of the wireless parts look like they could be swapped out. Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade my Mid-2010 airport system to the newer Early-2011 airport system?...

Chosen Solution This model has the 2 internal drives instead of 1 optical drive. After reassembling (twice) it won’t boot. I get a grey progress bar that makes it about half way across the screen before starting over. Tried to boot into single user mode but no joy. Tried the option key to boot from the 2nd internal drive but no response. I know the second drive ( backup) was fine when I powered it down....

If you mean the short cable that connects the mouse button to the rest of the topcase, that is the one shown in page 9 of the Upper Case Guide, I fear the work is nigh impossible, since the topcase is made of parts melted up in plastic, and the connector under the button is literally out of reach… If you mean the ribbon cable that connects your top case to the logic board....
Chosen Solution Looking to see if people’s phones match up to what I experience yesterday in a car my iPhone X get pretty through the entire phone when I got out and was able to check the temp with a thermometer the phone was 90 degrees on the back and felt warm against my skin this was just idling in my truck with the ac on. I can easily make both my iPhone X and 7 ramp up over this with just general usage such as browsing the internet or facebook but usually this is under the camera....

It plays the music that is on it, it takes a charge through a wall outlet or when connected to a computer but will not connect to iTunes. It even plays on a speaker dock. Chosen Solution I decided to replace a cable in my MacBook charger (old MagSafe). I cracked it open and there is a large blob of some sort of white rubberish paste filling a good portion of the space inside: I am not sure whether it is a special filling paste or something (capacitor?) leaked. I was not able to find any obvious sorts of leakage. The white rubbery stuff is indeed a filler, I think it may help conduct heat towards the shell so as to avoid the formation of hot spots in the circuitry....

Chosen Solution How can i fix the LE error? marie, the LE code means a motor error. The washer control receive a signal that the motor is struggling to turn the tub. This could be a false error code. First thing you want to do is to turn the tub by hand. If it does spin relatively easy you could have a failed RPS sensor (hall sensor. It is attached to the motor and may have fallen off etc....

It has recently started icing-up and it appears it will run the compressor even when the fan is shut off. Chosen Solution I have a Dell latitude E6430, recently it started flickering unto the screen was totally dim.i suspected the the inverter to have been the problem but i tested it and it was working fine. my other guess was the screen lamp. I then took it for repair and the technician said the screen lamps don’t die. he instead said the the screen board is the dead one. He built in another board for the laptop so the lights got back on....
Chosen Solution My A1286 unibody 15"laptop was damaged and while trying to disconnect the monitor cable from the mother board, I accidently broke of the locking pin. The manual says if this locking pin is broken, I must replace the complete LCD assembly. Is there a way I can repair this locking bar?Or can I bypass this some how? It seems a waist to dispose of the complete LCD assembly just because of a little locking bar that holds the connection of the cable to the logic board....

With that I mean that the top metal band is solid with the plastic, but the next metal band is moveable (the following bands are still as they should be)....
Chosen Solution My MacBook 2GHz Intel Core Duo has been making an extremely LOUD noise that seems to originate from beneath the top center of the keyboard. It sounds like an airplane motor! The laptop does tend to run quite warm, though this has always been the case since before the noise presented it’s awful self. I assume there is something wrong with the fan?
