Chosen Solution Hello there. I have a MacBook A1181 Penryn, with a dead backlight. I tried an SMC reset in case it was that easy, but sadly not. The backlight does not come on at any angle, and does not flicker at any point either. If I shine a torch on the screen it is all there, and the computer works fine other than the backlight. The memory is mounted directly onto the systemboard and there is no option to increase the installed capacity.. You can try and disable some pre installed apps that came with the tablet to see if this increases the performance a bit....

Chosen Solution hello Carolina, from your description, it can be concluded that your phone is not dead, you just can’t see anything. Probably a colleague caused the fault, we call this a short to ground. What seems dead at first glance (in the context as above) is actually hiding the storm of events, the struggle of positive and negative charges for domination over the environment. It looks like the latter are in the majority right now (if I can picture it that way)....

Chosen Solution What happens with battery cycel counts after replacing the battery? Does it reset the cycles itself after installation a naew battery? The cycle counts is the amount of times the battery has gone from 0% to 100% So yes, changing the battery will reset the cycle count if it’s a new battery, as the cycle count is associated with that battery. :) When the iPhone Says Battery Cycle Count is 1 and The Battery is good but actually it drains fast after replace the battery thats because the new battery is a Chinese battery and its Chip is programed to only set cycle count from 0 to 1 after first use and it will say wrong design capacity like for example iPhone 6 Design Capacity = 1795 mAh Current Max Capacity = 1875 mAh and actually iPhone 6 Battery Design Capacity is 1810 mAh so the Diagnostics tool will say the battery is good according to this Informations (1875/1795)*100 = 105%~ Battery Life this is a way to spot a fake battery by diagnostics....

Chosen Solution So i was using my iPhone, when it fell down and the glass broke and the touch dindt want to work anymore. So i bought on amazon a lcd display and replaced everything ( battery disconnected all time ;) ) but its still not working. Anyone been through this? Or knowing what the problem could be? Chosen Solution I replaced the cracked screen on an iPhone and it worked fine afterwards. However the day after, it would´nt turn on. I already plugged in another battery but still same result. It won´t show up in iTunes. I used 70% Isopropyl 30% destilled water to clean the phone, has it maybe caused some corrosion? Thanks for your help I would take a step back and start by re-installing the original screen to see if the problem is consistent with the screen or the phone (logic board)....

Chosen Solution My Mc Air Model A1369 equipped with a processor of 1.86GHz is equipped with 128 GB, but I want to upgrade at 256 GB. No, its soldered on. The only way to upgrade is to put in a totally new mother board. Hope this helps, John H. Laney

Chosen Solution Hello, I have just installed mostly a 2009 motherboard to a late 2006 MacBook model MA699B/A which I did my homework as it was a A1181 compatible, but discovered that a the black plug cable from the screen unit that accompanied the airport card didn’t fit the port that was apart of my failed logic board nor did the optical drive cable. I’m wondering if I got the wrong board that wasn’t compatible with my MacBook?...

This printer has been my “go to" for years when I need to run rough drafts or make visual notations on a document for a guide I am making modifications to as an example. Chosen Solution Hi, I have a 2009 A1342 (2.26GHz) with a faulty logic board. There are only two for sale in my entire country, both 2.4GHz models. I know this sounds ridiculously stupid but are the 2.4GHz logic boards compatible with 2.26 2009 models? I’m just afraid Apple, being Apple, changed something minor on the newer 2.4GHz boards that makes it incompatible with the older 2.26 models.
