Chosen Solution I had a customer come in with a cracked iPhone 7 Screen. Replaced it and swapped everything over, after testing initial replacement screen. When plugging it back in, the phone went into boot mode and wouldnt get past the apple logo and would continue to restart. So I unplugged it, unplugged battery again, tested a new lcd and it started right up again. After completely reinstalling everything on the new screen, and getting it together, the home button would not work....

Chosen Solution Customer put a iPhone 7 Plus LCD on a iPhone 8 Plus… Now iPhone 8 Plus only responds to iPhone 7 Plus LCD…. What could Be going on? Motherboard? Check the pins for damage, on both the board and the cable. You may also want to test the LCD on another unit to see if it’s functioning properly, but of course, check the cables before applying. Chosen Solution Hi! I have an iPhone 7 with vibration issues, I’ve done some replacing and this one resistor R2711 came off and I have lost it. Can someone either link a site where I can purchase some of them or is just bridging it with a wire enough? Phoneboard R2711 It is 0 Ohm resistor. Chosen Solution I repaired my stephdads iPhone 7 with a new lcd. The first issue that appeared was ghost touch. I fixed that with Elec. Tape on the 3D IC on the back of the screen which fixed it happening all the time. Now the time of typing the phone has ghost touch when overheating appears i.e. playing intensive games. -Phone battery has a low health, it’s 78% -Phone’s water damage indicators are red but already checked everything with a microscope for corrosion and there is none, it’s most likely that it’s from shower steam -Phone has been used and charged with 3rd party chargers -Phone’s lcd backplate has a weird pop up ?...

Chosen Solution Hello, I replaced my iPhone battery at a third-party service center, and since then the phone randomly shutdowns at any percentage (100%, 80%, 50%, 20%), It once shutdown when plugged in to the charger!. It shutdown suddenly(suddenly goes black) and also won’t turn on again unless plugged to the charger. I returned to the service center and they had no clue but they did replace my battery with a new one once more....

Chosen Solution I had the phone in my pocket with low battery a day of heavy rain and when I took it it had no battery. I tried to charge it (bad idea) but it didn’t work. It showed the symbol of ‘I do not have enough battery to power on’ to no response at all if I tried to switch it on a few days later. The phone does not charge....

Chosen Solution I dropped my s9 a few days after getting it and now the glass over the camera has a little chip in it do there is a tiny portion of the glass that is loose. I would like to know if it is still resistant to water.it is about a millimeter tall and about a quarter of the bottom of the glass. It should be as long as it doesn’t fall out and it was the only chip....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, as you can see in the images attached, I am having an issue with the display on my MacBook Pro A1706. The issue is that if the display has been left turned off for about an hour (or more), it becomes in a state where only the menu bar at the top of the display is visible. Within 5 minutes, this corrects itself, going from only the top menu bar being visible, to slightly lower down on the display being visible, but having alternate lines darker and lighter and glitching out a bit, to the whole display being alternating lines glitching out, and then within 1 minute of these glitches, the display becomes completely fine, like it should be....

Chosen Solution I have a 1989 chevy 2500 pickup, I put a new starter and cables in it, fired right up 5-6 times, drove home and parked it and today it started 3-4 times but it is so cold here in Michigan it died. went to start it again and grinded the starter a little and now it just clicks and wont start. Think the starter could be hung up...

Chosen Solution No sign of power from outlet to my fan. Depends on your model, but I would unplug it and find a way to disassemble the fan to check the wiring to the fan motor and switch. Then measure the individual points to where you have power and where it stops. Could be the switch as well as an internal fuse on the fan. Again, depends on the model....

Chosen Solution Hi, after my phone fell by accident, the screen started fading and displaying vertical lines only on the left side of the screen. BUT, when I apply pressure (press with my thumb) on the bottom left corner of the screen, everything goes back to normal. Except the vertical lines on the left side, they stay put. :) When I lock and unlock my device, the faded screen is back and again I have to press it hard to get it to work “normal”....

Chosen Solution I recently got an LG k20 plus and due to reasons I’m not aware of water droplets got into the back panel (where the battery is) and the screen wasn’t functioning (glicthing) but after putting it in a bag of rice it seemed to be functioning again until a few weeks later when it started again and it’s been working on and off for quite a few months now but evrytime I have the time to take take it to be repaired it seems to want to work again....

Chosen Solution I recently got this laptop, i was using it and closed it, i didn´t notice that a fiber of my hair brush was in the side, so when i opened it again, there was a small crack in the corner of the display bottom bar of the Mac, i want to know if this little hole is going to affect the performance of my computer later on? Chosen Solution Hi, I have to change my MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Mid 2009) Hard Drive Cable, and there’s only cables without bracket in the ifixit store… In the guide it tells you how to change it with bracket… is it more difficult without it? [linked product missing or disabled: IF161-039-1] I don’t think you can get it without the bracket. This is a 5 minute repair.
