Chosen Solution My keyboard’s “asdfghjkl” line of letters, when pressed, type a number unintentionally. When I press “a”, it types a1, and when I type “s”, it types s2, and so on. Sometimes, the problem doesn’t occur, and it types normally. But then, the problem comes back. The number row types letters after I type numbers as well. How do I fix this? You said you have checked “smps it produce 19.6v” but did not tell us how and where you have checked. You do have to tell us those things as well as what else you have checked. you also want to make sure that you double check your model....

Chosen Solution I have a late 2006 iMac with a power light that blinks and will not boot up. I had disassembled it to check the camera connections and get the part number off the camera board. Prior putting the front bezel back on I powered it up to ensure it worked. It did not work. The only other thing I did was to remove and reinstall the memory cards, same memory installed....

Update (02/03/2019) I took my mac to the apple store and they ran a diagnostic on it and told me I need a logic board. The machine only gives me a white screen. No sound at powering on. Chosen Solution Hello. Macbook is having weird display error. The error comes up randomly and restart the PC itself. Screen is shaking, 5 cm bars will come to the display. Chosen Solution My macbook air isn’t powering on but when I plug in the magsafe charger, it turns orange. An SMC reset (Shift-Control-Option keys and power button while plugged in) makes the light turn green briefly but it still won’t power on and the light turns back to orange within a few seconds. Also with the back panel taken off, I can hear faint clicking noises, but I don’t know where its coming from...

Chosen Solution I was on vacation and when i came back the macbook wouldn’t start. I removed the battery and connected the charger and it turned on. But the display is nearly black although i can see something if i try very hard. keyboard and trackpad and power button are not working. The only way i can use it is by connecting an external display, mouse and keyboard and by plugging and un-plugging the power connector....

So I sent in my MacBook Pro 15" Retina late 2013 with the 2.6GHz i7, 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD ( just in case that makes any difference) through an AASP to get the display replaced for delamination. I did also ask them to check it as it has been heating up significantly for a few years, just whether they could reapply the thermal paste etc....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook that you can somewhat use with a flashlight no matter what way I tilt the brightness it just stays dim where I cant see it please help Try resetting PRAM; at startup press command+option+P+R until you hear a second boot chime then release. If that doesn’t help it might be you have a faulty keyboard or a faulty backlight circuit, but unfortunately there’s no way to tell exactly which of the two without some basic logic board testing....

Chosen Solution I recently got a Starbucks Barista machine for free from someone who’s had it for 15 years. They hadn’t used it in several years, and said the last time it was used it had lost some of it’s compression. I’m currently trying and failing to get it primed. I plug the machine in, click the power button, wait for the ready light, then turn the steam knob. The pump activates, and the steam wand let out a small amount of water/steam, but after that nothing comings out....

Chosen Solution Hello I have got a 2012 Mac Mini, i7 CPU, 16 GB RAM installed. Last year I extended the disc capacity by adding a 240GB SSD as boot drive and took the default 1TB HDD for /Users as second HDD. Last weeks the Mini started to take a “very long time” to boot until the Apple Logo appears: I switch on the Mini, it takes up to 5 or 6 seconds until the Apple Logo (grey one) appears and then, 3 seconds later, I can login (so the boot process of the OS seems to be quiet fast)....

Chosen Solution Dropped my iphone 8 today, the screen went blank. I tried a hard reset (volume up volume down and then pressed the on/off button) the apple logo did not appear the the screen is unresponsive. Tried plugging into my MacBook and connected to iTunes. The iTunes recognised it had a problem then said restore or update…I went for update… then waited and waited…nothing happened. I disconnected the phone and tried again to connect to iTunes but now the phone is not seen by iTunes at all....

Chosen Solution Every time I connect my iPhone to my windows pc, a popup message appears saying that the device is not recognized, meaning that I can’t do ANYTHING with it on the pc. It doesn’t show up in iTunes nor the file explorer and in device manager it’s shown as unknown device with a yellow exclamation mark next to it (going to the properties tab, it says “a request for the usb device descriptor failed)....

Chosen Solution I got my iPhone 3Gs drenched in rain slightly. I came home, wiped it off & put under fan. What didnt realize was that there was water drops inside (that I saw in camera glass later). I got a call, the display was very dim, but I could make out the pick call button, so I picked it. So far all good. The call dropped in ~90 secs and display went off....

Chosen Solution My 2nd gen iPod touch (which is no longer under warranty) has lost it’s mind. I was having trouble connecting to my wifi network so I went to Apple’s troubleshooting site and it suggested I reset the network settings. Immediately after doing so the iPod stating rebooting and will not stop (it goes black, shows the apple logo screen, flashes white for a sec, then starts over). It keeps rebooting till the battery dies and starts up again as soon as I charge it....

Chosen Solution I have 40 gb PS3 US version. Manuf. date is Nov 2007. Serial number is CECHH01. I need to know without opening the case is this system multi-voltage even though 110 is only listed voltage on the outside label. I am US Military and moving out of the country to foreign location. As far as I can tell the PS3 is dual voltage, I just checked around on some other forums and am hearing the same thing....
