Chosen Solution After replacing the digitizer on an ipad mini wifi, the LCD shuts off when pressure is applied to the digitizer. At first i thought it was just the bottom right corner, but now I see that pressing anywhere on the digitizer with any bit of pressure shuts off the LCD and locks the device (passcode required to unlock the device). I’m aware that there is a gold contact that must be covered with electrical tape otherwise the digitizer will manifest “phantom touch,” but I’m not sure to what else the issue could possibly be related!...

Chosen Solution I cannot find the blower motor resistor. Where is it located? I looked in u tub but not 2014 locations. I’m not sure of the exact location but if you go to the fan motor and look for a wire connector that goes into the duct work coming out of the blower that will likely be the resistor . It has to be close to the blower to do its job properly....

Chosen Solution Hi All, Heres mad idea: is there a reason why display assembly from new MacBook Pro 13" didn’t work with previous non-pro model? One of the advantages of Pro is new, better quality display, apparently same one as used in later revision of non-pro MacBook. Plus, since we’re getting entire display assembly, we get “Pro” logo as well :) Any ideas? anyone tried? Someone would have to check is the two displays cables connectors are identicals and located at the same locations on the logic board....

Chosen Solution My friend’s 15 in macbook pro has a booting problem. During normal booting, after the chime and apple logo, it gets stuck at a white screen. In safe mode booting it goes slightly beyond that. There is a progress bar appearing for a while after which the screen becomes blue with vertical lines. Tried to boot with the option key pressed. Recovery selection does not work. The screen goes blue (with vertical bars) and gets stuck....

Chosen Solution This is a weird issue I’m having. The machine makes the startup sound, but I don’t have a way of knowing if it’s on or not. Usually after an extended period of time (30 mins or so), if I press the power button, the screen will come back on and I can log in as usual with no issues. So I can’t restart the computer or turn it off unless I want to go through that process again....

Chosen Solution There are sever pads missing when my meson chip was removed. Are they all fixable/repairable? And how do I know which ones are NC. I think most of them are but I’m not sure. Can some please let me know if there is a diagram to know if this is fixable or not? The blue pads are NC.

Chosen Solution I have this exact rifle. It has the blow back feel to it as well. Lately while trying to fire it, it sounds as if the motor is straining, it fires intermittently and freezes. The batteries are fine and i have occasionally put a drop of silicone lube on a few BB’s. Before i use the guide to take it apart, i would like to know if there is anything specific i need to be aware of or if there are any known issues with the rifle which could be causing this....

Before all of this happened though I had low battery, I’ve tried everything but nothing has worked. Will letting the phone charge for a while and then try hard resetting it work? Have you opened up the device to replace the battery? Disconnecting and re-connecting the screen while the battery is connected can cause the backlight circuit to blow....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 dropped about desk height and it still worked, however the iPhone would only charge to 3% and stop there. Is this a battery problem and should I just replace it? Chances are something in the charge circuit got damaged from the drop. I doubt it’s the battery although it doesn’t hurt to open the device to see if the battery is well connected. If the battery is well connecte, then what can happen after a drop is that some solder joints underneath IC’s or other components gets cracked and doesn’t make good electrical contact anymore....

Chosen Solution Are there ‘knock-off’ after market A11 Bionic Chips manufactured that are not licensed by Apple? Is the Apple P/N 339S00434 on the official chip? Who is the manufacturer licensed by Apple? The A11 is a state of the art, just released SoC. I thought I had read that it has >4B transistors. I highly doubt that there is anything available anywhere (just for kicks, I checked Aliexpress). You do realize that all recent Apple SoC are paired with other major components on the logic board, such as the NAND, BaseBand etc....

Chosen Solution Hello, I bought an SE to repair the screen , I have noticed that when I was driving home the percentage dropt from 73 to 30 and then it get stuck for like an half hour even using it , when I changed the screen I noticed when I replugged the battery in the connector that it doesn’t click , it feels like it’s lose all the time. Chosen Solution …….. or should I replace it with new wireless charging coil? The coil itself consists of a spiral of copper printed onto a sheet of some sort of plastic type material. The copper is the only vital part; it looks to me like the black insulating sheet is what’s torn there, and if that’s the case it should be fine. I do see some copper showing through in the picture, but unless it’s actually damaged, I’d think it would be okay....
