Chosen Solution My 2007 civic is blowing white smoke from exhaust,engine knocking, smells like burnt oil. Just added 2 quarts b/c the dash said 20% oil life. Any suggestions? Ok it was spark plugs and a fuel filter. The engine was knocking b/c it wasnt getting enough torque. Chosen Solution I was replacing a shattered screen on my iPhone 6. I had put the entire phone back together and reassembled when I noticed the top of the phone was getting very hot. This was caused by the camera assembly shorting-a topic unrelated to the question at hand. What is currently causing me problems is that when I went to open the phone back up, I removed all the ribbon cables again, and when I came to one of the cables for the LCD, the end that slots into the socket on the logic board separated from the ribbon cable, so it is now stuck in the socket and I am not sure how to remove....

Chosen Solution I replaced my iPhone 5s screen today and there are now lines on the new screen? I made sure I was super careful with the replacement.. is there a chance it could have been a dud screen? Try reconnecting the screen connectors, usually this can be caused if it does not click in properly. Try testing it out of the phone to make sure the ribbon is not too sensitive, in which case you would need a new screen....

Chosen Solution I have a client that has a Black MacBook. I am not sure exactly what model but its definately not a new generation model. He explains that when he plugs the Magsafe adapter into the MacBook the light stays green and the battery never achieves a decent charge is any charge enough at all to sustain itself disconnected from a power source. Chosen Solution When I updated to iOS 11 (the full release not the beta) my phone battery, like everyone else, is dying unreasonably quick. If the phone dies completely the phone takes ages to turn back on while charging. Currently I have had the phone plugged in for approximately 3 hours and it has not turned on. When it is plugged in and I press the home button a battery with a read line will display, if it is unplugged that same battery with red indicator line will display but also shows a lightning charger to prompt the user to plug it in....

I replaced the original 10 Go HDD by a 128Go SSD (Kingspec 1.8" CF Solid State Drive (IDE 50pin) (KSD-CF18.6-XXXMS). I’ve spent many hours trying to see the disk in Disk Utility to format it in HFS+ in order to prepare it for iTunes. It takes between 20-30 minutes to mount and then when i lunch the format procedure it takes a very (Around half an hour) to do so until it tells me that it’s impossible to write on the last bloc… So is the SSD faulty here ?...

Chosen Solution Recently replaced a water damaged keyboard for a new one, track pad has worked fine so it’s not the shared connection. I’m worried the pin connector or the cable from the keyboard may be the problem. When I first started it up and put it back together, only the d key worked, but now it’s completely unresponsive after I tried to fix the connection. If anyone has a pin out for the A1502, that would also be very helpful....

Chosen Solution I’m looking to determine which contact on the keyboard connection on the A1342 is for the ‘on’ switch function (or any other contacts on the logic board will do).
