Chosen Solution So I just bought a broken Macbook Pro 13" 2.3ghz i5 2011 thinking it was just running extremely slow and having glitchy graphics because of a failed hard drive, but after verifying the hard drive, that does not seem to be the problem. I also checked the RAM, by switching out the memory with another set, and reinstalled OSX. So then I finally ran the Apple Hardware Test, and received this error: 4SNS/ 1 /C0000008: TC0D–124 Which I looked up and it’s the CPU Temperature Sensor....

Chosen Solution MacBook battery emptied out as I forgot to charge it. As predicted, it shutdown. So when I click on the battery indicator button, it is flashing green very quickly on the first dot. however, when I plugged in my MagSafe cable, its indicator stays on green rather than changing to orange. But when I unplug it, the MacBooks battery indicator starts flashing again on it’s own. So I’m not sure if it’s charging or not....

Chosen Solution Two days ago I opened my macbook pro and saw this black vertical pixels forming a band but when I apply pressure on the screen it starts going but when I release it it comes back , see the pictures bellow 1- first picture showing the problem the band is about two centimeters 2-when I apply pressure on it starts to disappear can anyone please tell me what to do and what’s the problem and how to fixit , clearly it’s a hardware problem thank you...

Chosen Solution Hello, Does anyone know if a MacBook Pro will be able to run as a desktop mac if I disconnect the internal broken display from the logic board and connect an external monitor through HDMI or thunderbolt ports? Will it select the external monitor as the main one? Thanks for your answers Sadly no. The internal display has both voltage and thermal sensors which when disconnected will cause your system to go into CPU SMC safe mode ramping up the fan as well as lowering the CPU’s clocking....

I have managed to find a replacement battery A1405, but on the website it says it’s good for the A1369 Late 2011 model, but says nothing for mine. Any ideas whether it will work on my model as well? Chosen Solution Mirror is at a diagonal inside the body. Mirror does not always flip up when shutter is released. The small metallic pins that have corresponding holes on the mirror act as a hinge for the mirror. One of those pins had dislodged from the hole in the mirror, causing the mirror to rotate incorrectly.

Chosen Solution So I undertook a full rebuild into a new body / housing and a new screen. The Touch ID / home button flex was damaged on removal. Touch ID still worked but no home button. I replaced it with a basic version. This appeared to work OK. I had to take the screen off again to fit another lightening port due to a muffled microphone. Sadly I cracked my new screen....

Press and hold both low volume button and power button.Release as soon as you see the splash screen with the name of the device.You will see the bootloader menu. Select RESET, then Factory Reset. This will wipe all the information on the tablet, so it is to be used ONLY you truly can’t remember the password to the tablet....

Chosen Solution Hi there, bit of an odd one. Perhaps someone with a bit more electronics background could advise what the issue is here. Issue: PSP doesn’t power on. Charges fine. On investigating the issue I checked the power fuse (Marked TB) with a multimeter to see if that was the issue. The fuse showed continuity so assumed it was fine. Then by accident I checked the fuse again while a battery was connected and as I test the fuse with the multimeter the PSP powers on....

Chosen Solution My problem is related to revival of an old MacBook Air with OS X Mohave. I wanted to downgrade to El Capitan and made a clean install of OS X using a bootable installer prepared from a dmg file. But after that it is not possible to use the Time Machine backup for file migration. This is because of the earlier upgrade to Mojave. After the Mojave upgrade I don’t see the purchased items in my App Store and can’t download a copy of El Capitan from there....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro refuses to boot up cleanly after crashing. It says your computer has restarted because of a problem, press any key or wait a few seconds to continue starting up. One of the leds is not working. I tested the other leds with 3v and they are working. The led that is not working, is burnt out. I see a yellow stripe on it. Chosen Solution I replace the screen and everything was working fine. I noticed the track pad was a little sticky so I powered down and had to remove the internal battery to fix the track pad. Once I reassembled everything it is totally dead. No lights even when the charger is connected. I have taken it back apart and check for any loose connections. I have removed and reseated the RAM....

I hope you’ll be able to help me out :) Internal Dispaly is not working - external OK Diagnostic LED’s - 1,2,3 OK - 4 is off Replaced LCD cable ( 2 pins were bent and sticked to each other ) I did a SMC/PVRAM Reset A faint image is not visible ( checked in dark room and flashed the light on ) Run hardware test : may be an issue with System Management Controller PFM006 and with the display VFD001 The visual check showns blown part - as on the attached link( not shure if it has been caused by connecting a faulty cable and have not found logic board schematic to figure out what is it - fuse / capacitor etc…....

I ordered a replacement LCD and Digitizer and after replacing it I had to remove it again due to digitizer issues, I ended up breaking the screen and ordering another one. However, when I got my second screen after plugging it in I noticed the LCD had a fuzzy display with a line down the middle. I tried the screen in my brother’s 5S and it worked perfectly, so I’m thinking it’s either the logic board or the connector itsself....
