Chosen Solution My LCD is turning after fixing the upper case keyboard. I went and plugged in the laptop into a monitor and the computer functions normally just that the screen won’t turn on. Is there any thing I can try to see if the LCD screen turns on? Use a flashlight thing though the Apple Logo in the lid do you see a faint image of your desktop? If you do then your backlight circuit needs repairs....
Chosen Solution I have an LG front loader that won’t drain. I can hear it buzzing like the drain motor is trying to drain, then I get an “OE” error (“no drain” issue), and it stops without spinning. So, I removed wet clothes, drained the washer manually and checked the drain filter/trap (it was clear). I then turned on the drain/spin cycle with an empty load and it worked (started spinning)....
Chosen Solution I move the lock/unlock switch on the top, but the lock icon stays lock? Works when I connect to PC? HELP!!! John, you may have to take it apart and look at the hold switch . There is a little tab on the slider where the switch fits in. It may have come off, or broken off. instructions are here and the part is available here Good Luck....
Chosen Solution I have a 02 v6 passat one day driven it .. it started loosen power and the oil light came on ,so I drove it to the mechanic and came back . They said engine was locked up and have to have a new motor, but I can turn motor by hand so I know it’s not locked up.. what could it b ?? MacBook works fine when I plug it into an external monitor. Thank you in advanced for your kind answers! chris, that actually looks like a bad panel.Of course you could try and reseat the LVDS panel etc, but ultimately it appears as if it is a panel error....
Chosen Solution I recently purchased a top case cable for mu MacBook2,1. When I replaced it any put the computer together, it turned on briefly & then turned off. I took it apart & lifted the keyboard off of the lower case, & pressed the power button. It booted up. I then put the keyboard down & it immediately shut off. I’m assuming it is a short because after trial & error, I discovered touching the metal near the underside of the power button with the metal of the frame near the Bluetooth antenna causes the computer to turn off and not power on unless thee pieces are not touching anymore....
Chosen Solution I installed a Glowing apple logo to my IPhone a while back. After some time my screen began to get very dim even at full brightness. And then my screen suddenly died but I could still use the phone and I could press buttons in the background and even listen to videos even if the screen was completely blank. I tried disconnecting the screen and reconnecting and nothing so I bought a new screen and a new battery and my phone booted up....

I have a spare one that I decided to use but I woke up this morning and it was at the same percentage, 6%. Now it’s completely stuck at 2%. Chosen Solution The display on my MacBook has gone dim and has a big vertical chunk down it that is totally black and some other vertical lines. I opened it up to see if the display connector was loose but it is not. I also tried connecting the displayport to the HDMI on my TV but that did not work. I am happy to replace the LCD assembly but i dont want to buy one if the problem is on the main board somewehre....

Chosen Solution I am doing a screen replacement on my iphone 5s and i cant get the metal plate of the back of the lcd to put it on the new screen. is the metal plate necessary for the phone to work. It’s not necessary for the phone to work but it was designed and installed to allow for better thermal regulation. The backlight and the logic board generate a lot of heat and this additional heat sink just keeps the phone operating optimally....

Chosen Solution Why Lenovo IBM Laptop is on but the screen isn’t working to display boot process? @avrickabel possibly a bad LCD or bad GPU. Connect an external monitor and if that works you will know that your LCD needs to be replaced. Now, word of caution. This series had two types of backlight. One being LED and the other CCFL. The CCFL version may have an inverter. Shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen with the computer on....

It seems as though you have to completely disassemble the tablet so that the LCD screen can be replaced. Go to p.51 to find the part numbers for the 4 LCD screen types that are available for the model variants i.e. WiFi model HD (High Definition), WiFi model FHD (Full High Definition), LTE model HD and LTE model FHD....

Chosen Solution Hi. I’m using mac osx lion. my mac freeze at apple logo and spining wheel. I try everything, command+s, command+p+r, option and shift. It doesn’t change anything. I took out the batteries and hang it for 1 day, but its still stuck. The worse when I check into applecare website, they said command+v and see if there is some text written “library….” then I can restart and back to normal, but I can’t find the text its not there....
Chosen Solution My macbook suddenly died mag safe turn green then orange sometimes fan spin , cpu gets little hot , mouse clicks and usb powers on usb mouse so i was wondering if any one had any idea on what to try since the macbook won’t even chime Try resetting SMC and PRAM, that’s about all you can do. CPU should be alive if mouse is powered on. If you do get back the boot chime but screen stays black try plugging your Mac to a screen/TV to see if you have an image there....
