Chosen Solution I recently replaced the display in my Galaxy S4 from Verizon, and while the phone seems to occasionally show an LTE signal and connection, data doesn’t seem to work. Pages in browser or other online content never seems to load. If i disable my LTE connection data works fine on 3g. I did notice some difference from the linked display replacement guide that came with the display assembly, namely a red wire running up the left hand side (from the back) similar to, but not identical to the blue wire labeled as the antenna cable on the right hand side in the ifixit guide....

Chosen Solution Hi. I bought an SSD drive for my old MacBook Pro to speed it up, but there is a problem with it. I prepared a bootable USB with OS-X El Capitan and put the new drive into my MacBook. So I was trying to erase disk through disk utility, but there was a problem like ‘couldn’t save to the last block of the device’. I formatted it through another laptop to HFS+ and tried to install system, but OS-X installer didn’t recognize my disk....

Chosen Solution I have a 15" MacBook Pro a1150 that I am having some problems with, it shuts down randomly. I don’t know what it could be, there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I don’t think that it’s overheating, I installed a fan application and it seems to run between 130-150 degrees F. I’ve had the same problem for some time. Recently it got so bad that it would shut off immediately after starting up....

Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Pro (not sure the year but can find out) that I got from my brother because he fried the firewire connection on the motherboard which shorted out one of the processors (I think but he says it has a back up it uses) and it takes so long to be ready to use it has to start up then go into screensaver for 15 mins then it works fine....

Chosen Solution Hi, First time I see this… wifi won’t initialise/work. Tried 2 known working wifi cards+cables, tried a different chassis completely. Still, no wifi, no ’no hardware found’ message, it’s like it’s there but not functional as I can see wireless in system report. Another odd thing - Kingston UV400 SSD would have 400+MB/s write but read speed was lower and on next run, it would halve that under 250MB/s Goes to say it is inconsistent, not running at same parameters at all times....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve replaced dead GeForce 650m, but new chip lived for only a year and I have the same problem with GPU Panic. Thinking about upgrade to late 2013 logic board with Iris GPU only, but I will also need to upgrade a case. Will Early-2013 display fit to Late-2013 case? Do I have any other options? Chosen Solution I’ve had this laptop for a bit less than two years, and I’ve had no accidents with it, no falls, but some while ago my “d” key stopped working, I’ve narrowed it down to be sure this is a hardware issue but I don’t know what exactly it can be. I’ve tried checking the springs under the cap but everything looks fine down there. Could someone please let me know what I can do to possibly fix it?...

Chosen Solution I just finished installing the 32 GB upgrade to a new Mac Mini 2020/2018. Only difficulty was re-installing the antenna cable (not the screw, the cable). Tiny fingers help. But I do have a problem - Ordered the memory from Crucial (as I have for years…decades? For a variety of computers). Installed a single 32GB SO-DIMM in the slot closest to the center of the device and removed the 2 x4 GB SO-DIMMs....

Chosen Solution So I received an iPhone 7 from a friend that I was thinking of trying to fix. He said that the problem was that it’s not turning on at all, which is totally true. Now additionally as mentioned in the topic it’s trying to boot itself when put in a charger, but seems to be failing after like a second or so, after which it just tries again until unplugged....

Chosen Solution Someone has tried the PIN too many times and disabled my iPhone. I have no sort of backup of my phone. I have 6 years worth of data on this phone, so will need to recover the data at all cost.I do not have any trusted PC but I know my PIN code and have access to my iCloud account. Chosen Solution I have purchased a iPhone X, It doesn’t turn on without it being plugged in. I have opened it and seems it has had a housing and battery is loose also doesn’t have the apple logo so its a replacement? Once its plugged in it goes straight to the connect to itunes logo, connected to itunes but phone never completes the restore as it always turns of. If i get a genuine battery replacement do you think it will get it out of itunes etc Thanks!...

I really need yall to please tell me if u can put in a back camera with AUTO FLASH , on the Back of my IPOD!:) and I can easily go on the camera application that came with the ipod and use it to change the front/back camera and turn on the flash for back!...

Chosen Solution I have recently had to replace my FCAM/Sensor assembly (my ear piece audio went out) and was able to use an app to test the proximity sensor but there is no such ability with the ambient light sensor. I move from a well light room to a dark room and don’t notice any difference but I never really payed any attention in the past so can’t really tell if this would be noticeable....

Chosen Solution when you turn it on the tray that the laser lens sits on keeps loading forward past its stopping point. it keeps clicking and won’t stop loading forward therfore it wont load any games. any suggestions on what it could be and if so will it be fairly easy to fix? the playstation i have is the new one not the old big ones but one of the real thin ones....

Chosen Solution Hi, So I had a Galaxy S4 with a broken lcd screen lying around my house and I felt like a bit of a repair project so I bought a new lcd screen which was the correct model etc. and replaced it via an online guide. However, the screen is not working correctly. It will work fine but then will show some weird colours and go blank. The light at the top and home touch buttons still light up and work but the screen itself is blank....
