Chosen Solution So I recently upgraded my PC, a Dell Inspiron 5675. I upgraded the GPU to an RX 580, the CPU to a Ryder 2700x, and the PSU to a EVGA 650w silver power supply. It looked fine and seemed to work fine, until I actually tried turning on the monitor. It acts as if there’s nothing there’s and keeps saying No Signal. I’ve tried reseating my GPU multiple times, replacing it with my old one, and putting it in a different slot on the motherboard....

Chosen Solution I installed a new screen a while back from ifixit and it worked perfectly. Then, out of the nowhere, it stops responding to any and all touch. I called ifixit and they sent out a replacement, which worked for about an hour then it stopped. I have restored to make sure it wasn’t software related but no improvement. I have found that if I put pressure on the phone by slightly bending it, then the touch comes back....

Chosen Solution Hi! I have separated the lcd from my iPhone 7 but I was a bit to harsh on the little guy and I ripped the home button extension ribbon. Now I am having trouble to find a seller online. Does anyone have one for sale or know where to get one? Does somebody also have a picture from the ribbon cable? The cable runs underneath the backlight so I can’t get it out without damaging my working LCD....

Chosen Solution I have just replaced my iPhones housing, lcd/digitizer screen, battery, main speaker and rear camera. Before the repair, the phone would turn on and work normally (apart from the damaged parts). I have just finished the repair and the iPhone turns on and enters into a boot loop. It is not being recognised by a usb cable and doesn’t charge either. When I disconnect the lightning connector assembly the phone turns on and works perfectly....

Chosen Solution Had a iphone 7 plus come in for no power, replaced tristar and it powers now but wont charge when the phone is sleeping. Has a steady 1amp pull while booting to lock screen, the moment the screen goes black, power draw falls to 0. If i wake it power draw is around 0.3a. Tried a second tristar, replaced tigris and q2101 next to it, new charge port and battery with no change....

Chosen Solution Hey i got an iPhone 7 that cant be activated. I,m a repair guy but i never saw thus before. It has also no service. I reballed the baseband but that dident make a difference. Can anyine help me out? I’ve seen that on a cellular iPad that was iCloud locked. Someone thought they could remove a resistor to turn it into an unlocked Wifi only version and thus get around the Apple activation lock, without knowing Apple already patched that vulnerability....

Chosen Solution How difficult is it to replace iPhone 8 wireless charge antenna? I recently fixed the back glass and broke the original antenna. It’s not in the phone so I figured the replacement wouldn’t be bad Very easy, take battery out and slide under logic board.

Chosen Solution I had a crack near the earpiece of my screen which was gradually getting worse but the phone was usable. Eventually, the entire left side of the screen was unresponsive to touch. I decided to open the phone to try disconnect and reconnect the cables to the digitizer but the problem didnt go away. However, when I refitted the screen it stopped working all together so I decided to go a a repair shop to do a full replacement....

Chosen Solution I have a old 3rd gen iPod. The battery is most likely dead and it won’t turn on even if I have it plugged in via USB cable. Is it still worth trying to replace the battery? Dmitry Podkuiko, absolutely. those are great iPods and I like the sound a lot better than the one from my Touch. Anyhow, follow this guide to change the battery and I would also suggest to get a Firewire charger....

Chosen Solution I would like to setup my macbook to use just the system, keeping the lid closed, external monitor, wireless mouse/keyboard. Is this possible? Due to my lack of knowledge with Apple/Mac Specific cables, will the thunderbolt cable work with my macbook, to which i would go from thunderbolt to hdmi… Or is it not a thunderbolt but a different type of cable? If it looks like a thunder port but is not it is probably a mini-display port....

Chosen Solution The issue I am experiencing with my 17" MBP early 2011 occurs when I launch certain programs. When I launch Adobe Reader and other programs listed below, where the screen was white most white pixels change to pink. In the black areas it appears to be raining at approximately a 45degree angle from right to left, rain is green. This just started a few weeks ago. Chosen Solution Hi, I bought a cheap film camera and it won’t turn on with batteries but I readjusted batteries and suddenly it did. Chosen Solution So, I have a macbook pro mid 2012. Two days ago i was working and it suddently shutdown. The macbook was charging and i remember hearing a small noise one second before it died, it was like a clicking sound coming from the charging port. After it shutdown i tried to turn it on again and nothing happened, i tried to reset the smc and it didnt work, the laptop was dead At first i thought it was a battery problem, my battery is old and and it doesnt hold a lot charge so i bought a new battery thinking that a new battery would solve the problem but no, it didnt work....

Chosen Solution Hi! I am having an issue with an iPad Air, after it starts up the screen goes dark and won’t light up again. This is how it goes: -Apple logo shows -Apple logo dims down slightly -The iPad starts up still dimmed down, but you can clearly see -After 10-30 seconds the screen goes dark and when you press the power button nothing happens. I tried holding the power button, it does not starting, but holding the home and power button does restart it and the screen turns on for a few moments again....

Chosen Solution I have an iMac which just started giving a yellow banding from left to right on the screen. Clarity is still fine. It is more intense along the edge and weakens in yellowing near the middle. Bands are approx 1-5 to 2 inches apart. I have checked the power supply, inverter and cable to and from for any defects. Image is perfect on external monitor. Has anyone seen this?...

Chosen Solution Hi there, I have a Vita slim with an issue with the left analogue stick, where vertical movements are registered fine however no horizontal movement is detected. I swapped the left and right analogue sticks and the issue persists, which leads me to believe that the issue is with a ribbon cable or the daughterboard rather than with the analogue sticks themselves. Can anyone help me diagnose this? Thanks!...

Chosen Solution I have a LG 55LM960v and my GF watched TV and it suddenly turned off og wouldn’t power on again. Normal startup process for this tv is standby light is red, when powered on you hear an click and standby light blinks and then the tv on. Now you hear the click, but isn’t powering on, standby light blinks as normal and after 4-5 seconds, it clicks and again and then it tries the same cyclus for 4-5 times and then stops trying to turn on and ends with standby light only....

Chosen Solution I have troubleshooted this display and pinpointed the part pictured as the problem, I’ve confirmed it by replacing with a known good part and it restores the display to working however I am struggling to find a replacement part, where can I pick up a Controller board? does anyone have one spare even a faulty display with scratches, cracks or marks would do as this is a seperete piece LG P/N 68700-0382A LG P/N 6870C-0382A...

Chosen Solution loc is displayed. Machine will go no further. @treeplanter LOC is a reference to the control lock. Two ways you can try to fix it. The normal procedure is to hold down the “end of cycle signal” (drain/spin)button for 3 to 5 seconds. Or you can try to press and hold the add steam button for 5 seconds. Sometimes a simple unplugging the machine for 15minutes will reset it as well....
