Chosen Solution I removed the gold strip next to the battery above the home button flex when removing the LCD digitizer after front glass removal. Can I continue with the repair or is it now repairable? The best way to find out is to test the new screen and see if it’s responsive. I’m not entirely sure if it’s just a heat dissipation piece or part of the sensor for the touch screen....

In 02/2011 (just after the TV’s warranty expired), when I opened the TV to watch something, I saw that the left side of TV was much more darker than the right side. As manufacturer and repairers say “left LCD panel is gone, replacement price is much more then TV’s price, so throw the TV to trash” but I’m not convinced actually because of the following; Till a month ago, when I shake the TV or wait a little bit, the left side was coming back to normal but in last month, it doesn’t....

Chosen Solution I buy broken MacBooks and try to refurbish them. I don’t do it to make money, really, but more of a hobby. If I can repair one to working condition and make a profit, great, but I certainly don’t buy a machine with the assumption it will be an “easy fix”. Chosen Solution Hiya, Second hand Mac Mini with a problem here. Fan is going full speed (I can hear it loud and clear), but reads 0 RPM. Software, like Macs Fan Control or smcFancontrol to lower the speed won’t work (can’t go lower then 0 RPM, so seems obvious). I’m missing 2 temperature sensors (the ones attached to the HD), which are coming in next week, however in my common sense that should not be the reason for tools to read the fan speed at 0 RPM....

Chosen Solution iphone 5 wont power on. it has been plugged in for 2 days. only shows the low power icon or the “plug in” icon. cannot reset using the sleep/wake & home button. Phone has all updates. it was a replacement I received around this time in 2014. prior to this I was having an issue with overall battery life. would drain in less than an hour with moderate use, if fully drained it would take upwards of 5 hours plugged in until it would power on....

It would require you to take it apart though. A alternative would be to purchase a EXTERNAL STOREAGE device, and I highly recommend it. You can buy them pretty cheap and just plugs into the USB port and you can access all your files and etc just the same....
