Chosen Solution I’ve got a customer who claims his MacBook’s fan runs very high and loud specifically whenever he plays YouTube videos. He has Leopard and 2GB of RAM. I haven’t looked at the machine yet so I’m dealing with only preliminary information, but before I do take a look I was wondering if you guys have any thoughts. He has recently done a clean install of Leopard, and still has the problem, so it doesn’t seem it’s likely a software issue....

So it was quite costly to replace eventually after a couple of years I bought all the parts and decided to clean install my OS. Chosen Solution My Supersonic only works when I have it plugged in. If I unplug it, it dies immediately. It sounds like you have a bad battery and you need to replace it with new one. You can follow the Battery Replacement Guide to replace your battery. where would I purchase a battery replacement?

Chosen Solution Hi, swaped out my old 250 gb drive for Ifixit toshiba 2tb sata drive, did the disk utility and Superduper and drive is still not recognized. The new hd is 6gb and this been an older iMac was wondering if I need to put in a jumper to reduce data rate to 3gb or 1.5gb? Jumper down your drive or replace it. You’re trying to run a SATA III drive on a SATA II connector....

Chosen Solution So I was looking to see why the door latch was not closing tightly over the ice chute of my ice dispenser on the front of my freezer door. Once inside I saw that the pin had popped out of place that had the spring on it to close the hatch properly. When I went to pop the pin back in, the force of the spring on the pin pushed against the plastic hook-shaped molded piece and broke it....

Chosen Solution Hello, Since I’ve replaced the battery by a new one, both trackpad and keyboard doesn’t work. I tried without battery and with my old battery but I got the same issue. So I bought a new trackpad cable and the trackpad and keyboard are still inoperative.. I can use the mac just with a extern mouse and keyboard. I’ve tried SMC, PRAM, delite .plist and nothing work. Chosen Solution This laptop wont turn on. The power supply is OK. what could be the problem? Zack, there are plenty of things that could cause it. A failed DC jack, a bad power button, a bad logic board component or lose connections, as well as many other things. Unless you disassemble your Dell and take a look at it, there will only be guesses. Start checking one thing at a time and move on from there....
