Chosen Solution @lichfieldjohn use a big fender washer that fits on the inside of the broken piece. Epoxy that in. Get a bolt with the approximate same diameter as the previous threaded rod. Push that through and epoxy that in as well. You could even fill that broken part with something like epoxy resin. now with the bolt sticking through and firmly in place cut a slot on the bottom of the bolt where the thread ends....

So far I have found that adapters for the optical drive only accept 2.5" drives. Both of the drives I want to use are 3.5". Is it possible to fit 3.5" drives in the hd slot and optical drive bay? Is this possible? Most phones do not use a hard drive. iPhones use eMMC (flash) storage inside of a NAND chip. I get home to charge it and it doesn’t( that i knew already) so i started trouble shooting and i figured that it was the battery so i bought replacement and that didn’t solve the problem! I can get it to charge but only if I unplug the battery and plug up the ac adapter wait for the computer to start booting and then plug up the battery!...

I used another screen and the phone works normal minus the home button function. does ios 12.0.1 recognise a screen as aftermarket? as ive had the screen on with the home button working also since ios 12 first came out. only when I updated did it enter my phone to boot loop. but I have my spare screen on and its fine....

I connect blue & white wires it will start to fill then stops & red lock light starts blinking ,then fill light blinks , that is all it does. Do I recommend it? NO. Chosen Solution Hi guys, My mac stopped working, and when i performed the apple hardware test it said that i had an issue with the heat sensor of the HD, so i replaced it with a new one… Now, when i try to start, the symbol of the bin with a “?” in it pops up. Thats normal, since i don’t have the system installed on that new HD.. but when i try to start with the Instalation DVD, the mac starts to BEEP… In the internet, some people said it could be a problem with bad RAM, but i’m curious by why this happens only when i try to run from the DVD....
Chosen Solution so this mac mini shuts off randomly during boot and gets stuck on the apple logo on a 10.6.7 install disc. The install disk you are trying to use Snow Leopard, will not work. Macs will only boot from the system it shipped with or higher.
