Chosen Solution With the display in the normal position it works. As soon as the display is pulled out to angle it the lower edge drops down on the hinged mechanism as designed, but when this happens the screen goes blank. If I use my hand to hold the screen up as I pull it out the display works as normal. I think there is a connection under the LCD which is causing the problem when the screen slides down....

Chosen Solution Long story short, my Huawei honor 7x fell on the road. The Tempered glass flew off and the lcd screen has cracks. The touch and the visual display is just fine, only the outer glass seems broken. Can i get just the outer glass replaced? I do NOT want to disturb existing digitizer/Lcd I would imaging you can find the part though Ebay however I feel like trying to separate the existing glass from the digitize is going to be a nightmare....

Chosen Solution Plugged charger in to the unit, the LED on the charging cord did not come on and the laptop is not receiving any power. Went to the Apple store and tried one of their chargers and got the same result. no power to the unit. the salesperson at the store immediately stated that the logic board was the issue. at $500 for the logic board, the unit is clearly not worth repairing....

Chosen Solution I would like to know if it’s possible to remove the shield and re-install them without damage to them? I looked at the teardown to see if you can remove the EMI shields. It looks like they’re snapped onto the board. You can probably remove them from this phone. If you do, I would practice first. Removing them is not easy, nor is it recommended. Way too easy to break something off the motherboard....

As I’m also running Win10 it would help loading HD vids more smoothly....

Chosen Solution It looks like my Macbook Air A1466 from 2017, that is what the Apple website says, when put in the serial number. I think the DC board is broken but online I can only find DC board for the 2013 version, will this work or do I need a DC board specific for the 2017 model? Apple stuck with the same design with the 13” MacBook Air from 2013 through to 2017....

I would turn on the CPU and everything runs fine (fans, power supply, etc) but my monitors stay undetected as if my computer was never turned on. I did some research and, so far, I’ve tried: -removing all or some of my RAM and switching them through diferrent slots. -removing and reinserting my PCI and my graphics card -resetting CMOS through the jumper switch and battery -unplugging everything from the Power Supply and replugging....

You may be well served to consider a hard drive upgrade because of your drive’s likely age, and the fact that you need more space anyway....
