Chosen Solution Hi all, I have a early 2015 Macbook Pro 13in. It started randomly not wanting to charge. I went ahead and tried all the software fixes first. Rebooting, resetting SMC etc. I then replaced the charger with two different ones. Same thing, won’t charge. So I ordered a iFixIt DC/Magsafe 2 replacement part. Still won’t charge. I go into coconut battery and my battery health is good, 345 cycle counts....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I have question if is legal to have macOS on unsupported Macs. As I have Mac Pro 3.1 what have latest macOS (actually OS X) El Capitan. This machine is still powerful to run macOS Monterey (with OpenCore Legacy Patcher - upgrade to 32GB RAM with RX 560 and SSD). I even have it and running nice and smooth. Also can run apps what are no longer supported under El Capitan - specially Adobe Photoshop and Premiere....

Chosen Solution Hi there, I accidentally cracked a component on the Mi Pad’s motherboard while trying to take out the battery. Do you happen to know what it does and if it’s essential that I get the motherboard replaced? I’ve attached a picture with the said component encircled in red for reference (not an actual photo of my tablet with the crack). Though after placing in the new battery and assembling the tablet back together, my Mi Pad seems to work ok....

Chosen Solution So having trouble getting the straight answer on Unable to Activate FaceID after parts swap. Cracked my back glass and had a bricked X which I could use parts from. So I swapped the logic board into replacement housing, hooked screen back up and powered on.. Screen was dancing around (I guess digitizer is wonky) and message that FaceID unavailable. As there was no mention of removing the Accelerometer during the dis-assembly, it probably means that it is mounted on the mainboard. Apple plays this game where aftermarket batteries mess with how the phone works, so unless you find one that’s proven to play nice, you’ll go through a couple batteries to find one that isn’t a problem for this phone....

Issue is either the audio chip or baseband power chip needing jumper wires for weak pads and replacing the chip. Reputable microsolders can fix this issue for you....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 4 recently got wet and now the LED stays on all the time, even when the phone is turned off. Everything else works fine. Is there a way to fix this without having to replace the whole phone? First, make sure the phone is COMPLETELY dry. Chosen Solution This Mac has been purchased to run music editing programs such as Reaper, Cubase/Steinberg etc, but is seems to be barely able to handle it even with its 16Gb RAM and quad processor. It bogs down, gets hot, the fans rev high , battery capacity is diminished. I had cleaned the dust out of the cooling system already, now I am thinking of replacing the thermal paste as well....
