Chosen Solution Hi, My mouse becomes very jumpy after about 15 ~30 minutes. mouse moves slow also with usb mouse. I’ve run hardware test and it gives a problem with battery. it’s not original. can this cause my problems? With charger the i’ve got the same problem, but it seems a little less. also when charger is plugged in and the mouse is slow, and when touching with my other hand the metal chassis while moving the mouse with the other hand the mouse response normal....

Chosen Solution Need help. My MacBook has no backlight. Everything else works perfect when connected to an external monitor. Even the brightness fn keys shows the brightness bars increasing and decreasing but the Mac screen stays black. I used a multimeter and got 0v from the capacitors. And when I checked the fuse for connectivity I hear the buzzing noise from my multimeter. However, when I check one side of the fuse I get 13v and the other side shows 0v....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro 15” late 2011 with 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB. It has macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6. I use Firefox as my web browser. In the last couple of days my laptop has been shutting down randomly regardless if is plugged in or just using the battery. Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Air Early 2015 A1466 (EMC 2925) 661-02391 in the shop that randomly goes to sleep while using the Macbook. I have tried all the basics such as updating macOS. changing and disabling sleep settings, inserted another drive into the logic board, this resulted in the Macbook booting with the same issue. I also tried SMC Reset and NVRAM/PRAM Reset to no avail. The Macbook also goes to sleep in safe mode and recovery mode, the Macbook can stay awake for up to 30 minutes then decides to go to sleep and also will go straight back to sleep when woken up....

All seems to work well, with one exception: it will not turn on on battery power alone. It will, however, turn on while plugged in, and then run on the battery once unplugged. Charges fine, too. Chosen Solution The other day I noticed my MagSafe cable is not lighting up when plugged into my Mac. The Mac is not charging I have reset the smc, and unplugged the battery. Is it the cable or could it be something else? The first thing to do it test the mag-safe for output. Chosen Solution Hi, So basically I was repairing an iPad Mini 2 (A1490) by replacing the digitizer. During the process, the LCD glue was unusually strong and I accidentally snapped the LCD. So, I grabbed a spare iPad I had (an iPad Mini 2 (A1489)) and according to iFixit they took the same exact LCD. So, I took the A1489 LCD out of the iPad and began putting it into the A1490 iPad along with a new Digitizer....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 8 Plus and it won’t show a screen when I put a screen on it when it has no front camera. I’ve tested it with 2 LCD’s (they aren’t OEM) and I can feel the phone vibrating and everything it just won’t show a screen. I currently don’t have front camera. What do I do? Chosen Solution Hi, i have iphone x which has water damage. I opened it, disconnect all connectors and get motherboard out. I cleaned all of parts with contact cleaner. Battery is dead defenetly… Next step, i put it on power supply, and try to turn on. Phone was turn on, touch working, but no image(display is black). Example: i put sim card and call my number, phone ringing i can answer but dont see anything on display… What do you think?...

Chosen Solution Today I was able to replace the charging port of my XR. Taking things apart to replace and putting it back together went smoothly until I attached the flex cables of the screen that is all original / the same screen that came with the iphone. Before putting the screen back into the housing, I tested to see that everything was working and on after boot, everything except for response to touch....

Chosen Solution I was wondering today. Can the parts of an IPod Classic 5th generation be used on an iPod Classic 6th or 7th? thabks @pfsrodrigues headphone jack/hold switch, hard drive cable, and hard drive are compatible. (30gb hard drive is compatible with the newer iPod, not the other way around.) The 5th and 6th/7th model use two different LCD screens. The ribbon cable and connectors are shifted slightly sideways and will not work....

Chosen Solution I have an old white mid-2010 MacBook that can get uncomfortably hot, e.g., while sitting on my lap. I upgraded it a couple years ago to have a SSD. And just replaced the battery. (Both done with ifixit community help, thank you!) I thought a new battery would solve the overheating problem. But it has not. Anyone familiar with this issue? Examine the crimped end of the heat sink and look for any oily type of residue around it....

Chosen Solution does not appear to power up at all john clanton, not sure how long this has been going on or what happened to the iPod. At this time , I wold most certainly change the battery of the iPod first. The guides for your iPod are right here. Once you changed the battery, you NEED A FIREWIRE connection to charge and to restore this model. IT will not NOT work with USB....

Chosen Solution My iSight cable snapped right in half. The very thin red and green wires are lined up so I think I know the correct way to re-wire it but does anyone have tips on how to solder these super thin wires. I can barly strip them without breaking them.any help would be awesome as a new iSight cable is $50-$80 dollars which I dont have.Thanks. Chosen Solution After 1 month use, the 6T is not charging or powering on. It is not possible get in safety or recovery mode, not even pressing power button more than 15 seconds. Any help on this issue? Hi, Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to inspect the charge port to see if it is obstructed with lint and dust etc., and that all the pins are there and are straight and parallel with each other....

Chosen Solution Hi guys! My MBP 2015 is running the latest Mojave. Since yesterday, it has started acting weird and that both keyboard and trackpad stopped responding while in use. However, I’ve managed to shut the device down and powered it up again and this time it has back to normal. This morning, same issue has come back to the surface again! Any advice/help please? A repair company authorized by Apple change a keyboard cable and it work for quite bit and then stop working, I told them again about problem they told me that we have to change your trackpad and keyboard ....
