Chosen Solution Left fan makes noise Most likely your system is very dusty and needs a good cleaning. Get a small soft paint brush and a can of can’ed air. Pop off the bottom cover and then carefully dust out the fans and logic board. Use the can’ed air to blow the mess out of the system. Don’t blow to hard or long on the fan blades. I would recommend you get a good monitoring app like TG Pro it will allow you to see the health of the fans and review the thermal sensors within your system for issues....

Chosen Solution Hi Everyone, I have a MBP Retina 13 (2014) (A1502) which was liquid damaged a couple of weeks ago. After the damage, the device would turn on, chime, then restart…and so on. Chosen Solution Laptop was a throw away from a client. She dropped it and spider cracked the glass in several places. Touch screen works only in one spot. The LCD is clear and functioning fine. Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore HE3t electric dryer, model 110.84836201 that is not heating. Air is blowing, drum tumbles, timer counts down, no problems. Replaced the heating element, thermal fuse, thermistor - problem persists. Had all parts checked and the parts are good. What am I missing? Update (02/25/2019) Updating… Circuit breaker only has one switch for the dryer, clicked it off and on, no change with the dryer.Tested the outlet and the voltage is correct....

Chosen Solution When I press the power button, I hear a click in the Superdrive, as if it’s excepting a disc, and then I hear the hard drive starting to spin up. Then a second later, the hard drive whines down and appears to stop. The “F6 - Number Lock” key on the keyboard also illuminates green up when pressed. The power supply is green when plugged in the Powerbook without the battery and then amber when the battery is installed with one blinking light on the battery led....

Chosen Solution I’ve used the alcohol method 2 dry it out and nothing still and it’s been over a month. The power was on so I’m thinking I zapped the battery or circuit board?? You do not specify what exactly you did with alcohol to dry it out. The proper DIY way to handle a water damaged phone is to open it, disconnect the battery, remove the logic board and clean it in at least 90% (preferably 99% IPA), brush (lightly) away any visible signs of water damage and then dry it....

When I finished replacing the screen, and tried to power on, i had the white lines and black spots all over the lcd. Chosen Solution Woke up this morning and started using my phone, noticed that the screen became unresponsive for a few seconds at a time and then I saw some gray horizontal lines. Did a battery pull and restarted the phone, however, the screen is completely black and I can still hear the boot sound. Got past the pin screen and think the phone has fully booted, fingerprint scanner works, I can touch the navigation keys and get feedback and I am still getting notifications....

The bottom and second to last bottom pieces have come almost completely disconnected and are only being held together by a little wire on the side. Is my logic board a lost cause?
