Chosen Solution Hi so I have a problem. I found my old Macbook Pro 15 in non-unibody from 2008 I believe. I am really inclined to get it to turn on. So far the only method that has worked to get it to turn on is if I remove the battery, hold down power button for 10 seconds, plug the charger back in and continue to hold power button for 10 more seconds then release it....
Chosen Solution So my 9 year old daughter spilled water on our MacBook 13" Unibody (Model A1278) Late 2008. I wasn’t too worried because she said the lid was closed. But, upon further interrogation, I learned that she opened the lid and water got onto the keyboard area she wiped it off with a paper towel and quickly closed it in an attempt to hide it from us. That is, until her 4 year old brother ratted her out… The MB would have been asleep prior to her opening the lid - not powered off....
Chosen Solution if the logic board was bad, would the display read i-pod> when docked? 60G i think i’ll try a new battery for now……thanks davi, if it is not charging and possibly turns off when not plugged in, it is a good idea to change the battery. Chosen Solution After replacing the dock connector and headphone jack, the mic works but callers CANNOT hear me. I can hear them clearly. If I use a headset or speakerphone, the unit works properly and callers CAN hear me. IFixit’s instructions did not address the part attached to the headphone jack ( i think it’s the grounding cable). Is it possible this is where my problem lies? The mic responsible for transmitting your voice to your callers is located in the dock....
Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I have got a 7 Plus here, when first powered on or after a reboot, the wifi will be greyed out in the control centre and in settings for approx. 5 minutes before it enables itself; once it stops being greyed out, it won’t be greyed out again until powered off and on again. I have replaced both WiFi antennas in the upper part of the device with no luck....

Chosen Solution Customer attempted to repair their iPhone X by themselves had missing screws e.t.c. We replaced and repaired the screen but we noticed the grounding clip is missing. Does anybody know perhaps where to buy that? I know apple wouldn’t put it in if it wasn’t necessary to some degree. What grounding clip are you talking about?
Chosen Solution Hi, Fantastic site. I am trying to fix an iphone 3, that was given to me not working. It only shows the apple sign when i plugged into the computer. It changes logo in dfu mode, itunes recognizes that it needs restoring , but during the installation i get error 1611. Apple support site suggests that this might be a hardware problem, but no further clues there. I have read some people have had this error as a software problem, but no luck so far....

Chosen Solution I’ve got the 500gb ssd arrived and just waiting on the rest of the bits to arrive but I’m wondering whether it’s worth removing the optical drive and replacing with the original mechanical hard drive if I’m fitting the 500gb ssd where the original drive was located? Or is it worth doing the conversion and when I can adding the 2nd hard with another ssd? What made sense years ago, really doesn’t make sense today....

Apple switched to a different signaling and wiring standard from the original eDP to iDP. The best way to think of this is two people who speak Spanish one from Spain and the other from Mexico, while they are similar there is enough differences to make talking difficult....
Chosen Solution I bought this PC like 5 days ago so I downloaded Euro Truck Simulator 2 and CS GO, when I play Euro Truck my screen sometimes freezes but not the game and I hear my truck ram into something or take damage I have to open task manager and close it, when I play CS GO when I am joining a game my screen glitches out and everything like the gpu is fried or something I upgraded to the newest update for the driver and everything is the same....
