Chosen Solution I purchased this trackpad over a year ago and have used it daily since. The item was never dropped or damaged, but the other day it just stopped working. I click the power button and nothing happens. No green LED, no connection to my MacBook. I replaced the batteries several times and tried cleaning the contacts for the batteries inside the device. Nothing has worked. Apple support recommended I take the item in to an Apple store so they can “look at it”, but before they try to sell me a new one, I’m wondering if anyone has had success in reviving these devices after they die....

Chosen Solution The switch fell off a shelf, the Joycon snapped off, taking the slide rail with it and disconnecting the ribbon at the slide. I bought a new slide and succefully installed it. It all works, except the screws that were pulled from the body when the slide disconnected no longer grip anything and won’t stay in. What can I do to reattach this thing? My granddaughter somehow managed to snap off one of her joycon rails, resulting in exactly the same situation you’re in....

Chosen Solution i have a 2003 explorer and both entry remotes stop working .its a pain in the ass because ford only put an actual lock on the driver side so thats the only door you can open. i changed the batteries nothing i disconnected the car battery and reconnected hopeing it would restart but nothing . any suggestions? Hi @missfitles , Haven’t tried it but you could always try reprogramming one of the remotes....

Chosen Solution I have a Dell Latitude 5490 that I’m trying to troubleshoot, it won’t charge but will also disable any chargers plugged into it until they are disconnected from power and plugged back in. I have tried about 4 compatible chargers (I have plenty of spares in stock) with the same results. These chargers work with my other Dell Latitude 5490. I have opened and disconnected the battery from the laptop as well as the standard 25 second power reset as recommended....

Chosen Solution Hi, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix a glitching lcd on an iPhone 6? Its not the touch disease glitching, its the colors looking like crazy pixels moving around. Happens with any lcd and I haven’t seen anyone with the same problem. Just wondering if anyone can suggest a certain chip to check out, seems like all data filters are fine and already tried changing the lcd connector....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a 3GS (white) which the touchscreen was broken but the LCD was worikng normally. I’ve decided to buy a new touchscreen with the home button included to simplify the replacement. I’ve just replaced it and the when I turn it on the screen shows just a little bit of light, but nothing more. I have another 3GS (black) so I’ve tried to switch Touchscreen+LCD from one to another and the replaced one works perfectly in the iphone (black), and the original touchscreen+LCD give me the same problem in the (White) iphone....

Chosen Solution I’ve got a couple of stripped screws on my Apple Watch (original series) that I am trying to replace. The iFixit website sells a set of these screws (IF308-017-1) but they are out of stock and have been for at least a month. If I could get the description of each screw I could purchase each individual screw that I need. Example screw description = M1x2 mm. The iFixit screw set was assembled by someone taking the time to strip down a watch for its parts....

The tub bearing helps to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly. Replacing the tub bearing is a very involved repair and will require disassembling most of the washer. Chosen Solution It seems my charge cable is no longer charging my Macbook Pro (Late 2013, 15"). I know the Macbook Pro’s port is fine, because my Thunderbolt Display’s charge cable still charges it. So it’s either the cable’s end that’s bad, or something with the brick, or maybe a kink in the cable. I know the wall plug is not the issue, because I swapped it for the power adapter that connects directly to the brick, and it still didn’t charge....

Chosen Solution Followed the guide successfully in replacing the hard drive with a new one purchased from the list provided. Was able to successfully install Snow Leopard from DVD, completed 2 SW updates, and restored data and apps from Time Machine. I then downloaded Lion (trying to get back to Yosemite incrementally); on reboot the install progress screen appears briefly then goes to Disk Utility. Permission Verify runs and lists many issues, but Repair Permissions is grayed out....
