Chosen Solution Hello all, first time here. Recently inherited this MacBook from my dad who hasn’t used it in a year. The battery does not keep a charge and the laptop can only run on the power adapter. The MagSafe stays a constant orange. I have reset the PRAM and SMC and ran the hardware diagnostics which says everything is normal. Chosen Solution Hello, i have cracked the screen glass of my Asus Padfone 2 (A68) and now the touchscreen functionality does not work any more. However, the LCD seems to work fine. I have two questions: Is the LCD somehow glued to the Digitizer ? There is a replacement part called “ZVLT922 Touch Screen Glass unit”. You can buy it on eBay for about 20 bucks. Is this replacement kit all i need to repair my phone ?...

Chosen Solution I recently did a screen replacement and customer came back a few days later saying “there’s black marks on my screen” upon inspection I discovered the LCD was cracked and bleeding, but there was no damage to the glass, he agreed it was cracked and left without arguing, though said “I don’t know how I couldve done that It’s been in my pocket the whole time” now weeks later I just got a call from him saying he consulted with “professionals” and they assured him it was definitely a defective screen… Any opinions on this?...

Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Pro 15.4" 2015 Retina model for an LCD repair. I have a choice between replacing the complete screen assembly or just the LCD. Would prefer just LCD cost wise. There are 5 Macbook Pro Retina Models from 2012-2015 and they all seem to have distinct LCD’s for sale. Question is are the older models of LCD from 2012-2014 compatible with my 2015 model. Wifi antenna, Webcam and LVDS Connectors across the models all look the same as far as I can gather from youtube vids and ifixit guides but I’m still unsure....

Chosen Solution The LCD on my 20 GB iHP-120 mp3 player suffered a fracture and the display no longer works. Aside from the display, every other function still works impeccably. The item is out of warranty. I emailed customer service about a replacement LCD spare compatible to be installed but they were not helpful. I need a LCD compatible to be installed and instructions for dismantling if possible. I am grateful for any help or suggestions....

Chosen Solution My kenmore elite is leaking from the back not the front onto my ele in the back here is a pic This is what it looks like @meesh you did not tell us exactly where in the back it is leaking. Start by checking the water inlet valves ( where you connect the water hoses to). Not sure where the water would come out of in the image you posted....

Chosen Solution Is there any way to fix this? I know there is a factory image for tmobile but how do I go about flashing it when the phone won’t go to any screen other than the LG security error logo. My Suggestion is to try and get it to go into Recovery Mode, This can be done by pressing the Volume Down Button and the Power Button, Once the LG logo appears when the device turns on then keep holding the volume button but release the power button then press and hold the power button again....

Chosen Solution I bought a used LG refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom. It was standing up right in the move and was left to settle for 8 hours. It has now been 48 hours since it was plugged in and the fridge and freezer are both cool, but neither are all that cold. I know it sounds dumb but have you checked the temperature knob to make sure its set to a temperature you want?...

Chosen Solution I replaced the display assembly this weekend, but when I was attempting to reinstall the logic board (step 21 of the guide, in reverse), a small rubber bumper came loose from ‘somewhere’ on the board (I think). Here’s a picture of the bumper (with the broken screen as a backdrop to give you a sense of proportion). Can somebody identify where it belongs? It’s seldom good when you’ve got parts left over!...

Chosen Solution My key to my 2003 Dodge Caravan. I find what seems to be the spare a week later, go all the way back to my van, but doesn’t turn over my ignition. Does unlock my doors. Is there a chance this only unlocks my doors or maybe my ignition was froze up or jammed up? Really cold here right now but it didn’t give that all so I’m not thinking the ignition was frozen....

Chosen Solution as the title suggests, the macbook does not switch on unless I disconnect and reconnect the battery and then plug in the power cord. I thought it was a defect of the power button, but when the computer is on it works by activating the shutdown window. so I would exclude a keyboard defect, is it possible that the problem is in the on/off circuit? how can i verify that this is the case?...

Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro 2017 with Touch Bar has one vertical line about 5cm wide that changes colours when opening/closing the lid. Otherwise, both vertical and horizontal lines appear all over the screen, at times making the entire screen unusable depending on the angle of the display. Can anyone tell what is causing this and how to repair it? Ouch! Somewhere you either banged or dropped something of weight onto your systems lid which damaged the LCD....

Chosen Solution So as the title says, I have a MacBook Pro that will boot partially and then get stuck on a white screen until I force it to shut down. I have tried all of the usual answers I see to this sort of question such as: Resetting the NVRAM.Resetting the SMC.Disconnecting the battery and draining all the power.Tried to boot into safe mode, ended up still hanging.Ran Apple Hardware Test, both normal and extended which showed no issues....

Chosen Solution The Mac screen was broken when it was dropped to the floor. The computer still works as before. There is a dark stripe in the middle of the screen from top to bottom about one inch wide. At the bottom of the screen shows some broken images. Can this screen be replaced? This can absolutely be repaired, what you have damaged is the LCD. The LCD can be replaced on its own but this would be a very difficult repair for anyone who isn’t fairly experienced with MacBook repair....

Chosen Solution I’ve C/P my post from apple support so I don’t have to write again. Hi, I have a late 2009 MBP 13’’ 2.26 that originally came with 21 GB of RAM and a 5400rpm 160GB disk. I’ve upgraded the disk to Western Digital Scorpio Black with 320GB @ 7200rpm and also RAM to 22GB g-skill ddr3. From that time my computer started to act funny and kept being sluggish and it became pretty annoying....

The battery is Alive, and i recently tried swapping the harddisk without any results. Please help! Chosen Solution my marantz 2232 amplifer sometimes has weak output. moving or gently pushing in on the volume knob will sometimes corrects this, after a few minutes the problem comes back. the problem seems to get worse with longer run times. Hi, It seems that the volume control potentiometer is faulty. Depending on the type you may be able to fix it but is it usually easier to replace it. This is what it may look like, there are a lot of variations....
