The name and password given to me at the auction is not working. Below the grey boxes it says welcome to’ ……High school' Most likely the system was lost and someone placed it on an auction web site to get some money....
Chosen Solution The logo of macbook is glowing but the macbook isnt turning on, its got a grayish screen Does it chime? Does the caps lock light when pressed? Have you tried a test screen and booting from another SSD? Check the power rails on the logic board. If it is chiming it will be related to the screen or screen circuitry on the board. If it is not chiming, have fun figuring this out :)
Chosen Solution Hey. Yesterday, my Macbook Pro completely froze whilst I was using it (never done this before). I had to do a forced shut down. When turning the macbook back on I would get this flash of code appear over the white screen with the Apple logo on, it would only stay a few seconds, then my login page would appear. I would try to login, but after my first attempt, the macbook would shut down and repeat the same process (with the code appearing on the screen)....
Chosen Solution I have the same issue: “My Keyboard Lights won’t light up and my F5 & F6 keys don’t do anything and I dont have the options of lights on my keyboard settings anymore” I just took off my back cover and noticed a small flat cable with black tape disconnected from my board just above the battery. I attempted to reconnect it but there is not a way (clip) on the cable itself to connect it to the board however, it does look like the clip used to be on the wire is missing....
Chosen Solution Hi everybody, So suddenly tonight my Mac turned off by itself after being unplugged from the charger, even though it says it is 100% charged. Last night this wasn’t happening. I have noticed over the past few months that the full charge lasts less and less, something like 5 hours or so. I usually just have it plugged in all the time. After that I tried resenting the SMC, and I could see the light go from orange to green and then orange again, but still nothing. I have read through other threads but none of those solutions worked I replaced the speakers on my MBP and there was no issue, but revently, my display went black and does not work. I tried all the software checks, tried disconnecting and reconnecting the display cable, but nothing. It works fine on an external monitor, and the backlight responds as well. Additionally, I replaced the LVDS cable, but still the same issue....

If you didn’t drop the camera, here’s something that MIGHT work, but don’t get your hopes up: With a fully charged battery in the camera go into your menus and select, “Lock Mirror Up for Cleaning”. Per the instructions on the LCD, press the shutter button to raise the mirror. Wait a second then shut off the camera. Repeat these steps three, maybe five times, and see if it clears the error....
Chosen Solution Hi there, I have an iPhone 5S that’s missing a micro component near the battery connector. It is in the purple circle in the image attached. The phone will not boot now, it gets to apple logo and then after a while flashes blue and restarts (and so on in this loop) I’m thinking it must be this little component as I have changed out just about every part other than the motherboard itself, and i’ve gone over it with my microscope and this is the only thing missing....
Chosen Solution I have a 12 year old 19.5 hp craftesmen riding lawn mower that runs at high and low ideal when no blades are engaged but now when i engage the blades the motor stops running. Changed oil,changed plugs ,changed air filter,washed ,air tires. No luck fixing. Turn your mower off and check how the blades turn underneath the deck. Any obstruction, damaged pulley shaft, or seized pulley can be the cause of that....

It does everything, including finding Wifi- and Bluetooth-connections. When I put off the location services after a hard reset, the iPhone can’t find the correct time and date. Chosen Solution Hey guys, So my phone had to be placed properly in order to charge which was because it had some fluff in the charging port (I only found that out after it stopped working and I cleaned it). I dropped my iPhone SE about 2 weeks ago and the very top of the screen where the camera is at cracked and some of the glass fell out so I can see the camera, the little speaker thing and the thing which connects the screen to the phone I think but the phone worked fine with no issues....
Chosen Solution So I spilled a bottle of water on my MPB, and the CPU, GFX, etc. work, it’s just the display that’s fried. Is there any way that I can just go in and replace the LCD? I understand I’d have to take the entire thing apart, but is it possible to replace the LCD without a pricey, $800 lid replacement? Thanks! First of all, the spill may have damaged the logic board so the display itself may be ok but the logic board display output may have been damaged....
Chosen Solution Ok here we, progressively in the past 2 months the screen swipe started to not swipe. I found hitting hit against my hand then it would swipe. I know. Ok so getting worse and then when I turned it off one last time then I turned it on it would not swipe- tried hitting the hand and no luck so swipe. Everything else is working on the phone- the phone charges, turns on screens on, off button works etc....
Chosen Solution When you look into the vent/exhaust port on top of the system you can see the bronze heat pipe thing. I thought this would have been hidden when manufactured. Looks ugly :/ Yes, it does seem like it is normal as heat is transferred from the CPU to the heat pipe and then out the top. The easiest solution is to not look at the vent. If Nintendo didn’t have that, they probably would have to add a fan to keep it cool making it loud and bothersome....
Chosen Solution A few months ago, my iMac suddenly shut down, and wouldn’t turn back on. After getting it checked and serviced, I was told that the Logic Board(?) was dying. However the Mac still can boot, although the screen wouldn’t turn on unless I manually restart the Mac around 2-4 times. According to a forum, it’s caused by a failing GPU. Apparently it can be “fixed” by basically reflowing the solder....

I haven’t dealth with iPhone batteries, but wrinkles like that are usually harmless (unless the whole battery is wrinkled and curled). On the other, looking at the photos, there is an indication of a slight puncture (the silver showing through)....

Chosen Solution A friend tried to update their Mac to Sierra but the update failed part way through. Now the computer she tried the install on is running its fans constantly and the CPU usage is bouncing between 80%-200% almost entirely due to kernel_task. I’ve tried reseatting all the connectors on the board as well as an SMC reset and PRAM reset. I’ve also cleaned out the fans. Online people are suggesting messing around with system files, I’d prefer to avoid that solution if possible....
