Chosen Solution At my church we are installing 2014 Mac minis in the classrooms and occasionally when we power them up the main display works perfect but the projector which is plugged in through the mini display port to vga adapter the screen will just be blue like it does’t have a signal. When I check in system preferences the computer shows both displays plugged in though. Powering off the projector doesn’t fix the problem I have to manually unplug and replug in the adapter....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have replaced the device battery late 2017. The replaced battery worked ok but I had sudden shut offs at around 20% SOC. So now, two years later when I had some time, I made a SMC reset to fix that. But after that SNC reset the device shuts off os soon as I disconnect from power and the MagSafe light is always green. After googling a bit around I found the coconut battery app and that says “Battery Failure YES” (screenshot) and it says battery is charged with 1....

Chosen Solution Please help! The main speaker doesn’t work anymore, but the speaker on the side works. One one that looks like this; —•. The audio comes out of there. I tried resetting, and nothing works. Please help Unfortunately, this is unfixable as opening the AirPods will break them.

Also when I first put it into gear at a dead stop the car feels as if it wants to move. Chosen Solution Over stove hood microwave will not shutdown. Shut it off at the main breaker. Cause 1 Main Control Board First, make sure that the touchpad is working properly. If the touchpad is working properly, the main control board is likely at fault. If the control board is defective, replace it.

Although when plugged in to a 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter, it gives me an orange light, yet the fans do not spin and the laptop does not power on. I’ve taken out the logic board to test it out with nothing plugged in. It still gave me an orange light on the MagSafe and still doesn’t give me any fan spin....

Chosen Solution Hi, i have a problem with my iPhone.the lcd backlight is not working anymore.the iPhone felt down, and the dislpay incl. the touchscreen was destroyed. so i bought new touch and lcd set… after replacing my destroyed lcd, everything was working fine, incl. backlight. But then the backlight went off.. i opened the iPhone again…seated all cables again into the iPhone, and it worked again…but only for a few minutes, till i moved/shaked the iPhone… i guess that the connection for the backlight is not well connected…but i don´t know what cable is responsible for the backlight connection…I uploaded 2 pictures…can you say me which connection on each picture is for the backlight?...

Knowing that TouchID couldn’t be really changed without changing a lot of parts on the older iPhones, my question is, is it the same for Face ID? I read that it’s linked to the camera, but it wasn’t clear enough for me and people are currently selling motherboards with FaceID so I really don’t know haha....

Chosen Solution For a while, my iPods accelerometer has stopped working. I’ve dropped it twice and have noticed a half-inch long dent on the back. The dent is in between the memory amount and the apple logo, all the way to the left. I am very frustrated with this problem. I’d rather not go to the Apple Store :3 I have noticed that if I leave my iPod on a flat table for 8 or so hours, it starts working for a second… I’m did not get an extended warranty, it doesn’t really matter because I got it April 2010....

The replacement has worked excellently; no more flicker. But, the max resolution I see is 1440x900 in System Preferences....

Chosen Solution I have a Lenovo T420 and the thermals of the computer are not exactly accurate. I am wondering if I can try anything before I buy new parts, since I’m closer to comfort then I want to be with the expected part costs to repair the entire system as it is. It would be nice if I could recalibrate the tempreature sensors and seeing what that does, but I can’t find a clear way to do it....

Chosen Solution I recently acquired a PowerBook G4 17" M9689LL/A, A1107 to repair. From past experience with the device I know the HDD in it has gone and ideally needs replacing. I keep hearing reports from people that it will only accept certain makes and models of HDD. I was wondering if anybody knew if there was any truth behind these rumours, or if I could put any 2.5" IDE HDD in to it....

Chosen Solution Okay so I dropped my phone twice. The cracks on the screen came from me dropping it on concrete about a month ago but it didn’t do anything to the phone besides make it hard to see. So the cracks aren’t the problem or what I’m looking to fix right now. Two days ago I was at a friends house and I dropped my phone on the ground. Chosen Solution Hi, I had and accident when I burned USB hub connected to the left USB port (one next to audio output). Port doesn’t respond to connected devices. Is there any chance to fix or change only USB Port itself or it has to be whole motherboard? Thank you very much for answer! Sadly, you damaged the logic board USB connector so you’ll either need to find someone with the needed skills and parts to fix your logic board or the other option is just replace it....

Chosen Solution I bought the ifixit lighting port directly from the website and after replacing the part step by step i turned the phone on and the loud speaker was no longer working. I verified using the headphone jack that the phone was outputing audio and also did everything i could think of to rule out a software problem; even rolling back to the factory IOS version. I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on this for me....
