Chosen Solution Hello, just wondering if it’s possible to disable/remove bluetooth on a JBL Flip Essential? I will only ever use AUX however as soon as you turn the device on it tries to pair and there doesn’t appear to be a way to turn it off (the manual makes no reference and I couldn’t find anyhing online). I have noted the replacement antennae guides for the Flip 1 & 2 and am wondering how similar the essential model is....

Chosen Solution Recently experience the mac is locking up and spinning beach ball. will not reboot after resetting power. Shows on sliding bar 60% and then hangs for ever. Reset and ran utility and then restarted still would not reboot. reset pram and the finally booted after about 15 minutes. This has happened 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Ran the apple diagnostics and no errors. Just got it to reboot now after an hour of messing around....

Chosen Solution Hi, So I have a 13" Macbook Pro Mid 2010 that doesn’t want to turn on. I do get a green magsafe light but it doesn’t want to charge the battery (The motherboard version is 820-2879). If I remove the battery and measure PPBUS_G3H, I get 12.4v and it slowly goes down to 3v and instantly jumps to 12.4v again (I lose about 2 voltage a second. This power drop cycles forever)....

Chosen Solution I got a MBP here that seems to be affected with the stain gate issue that I’ve seen around but mine isn’t as bad as others I’ve seen. I’m just wondering if mine is worth removing because on one hand, it’s not that bad in dim conditions but really noticeable in daylight. Also, I’ve seen plenty of horror stories with people ruining their screens with listerine getting underneath the display or breaking the screen with pressure and I’m kinda worried about preforming the AG-coating removal procedure....

Depending on whether this issue is present while speakerphone is enabled or not.

Chosen Solution mac mini late 2009 model A1283 I’m upgrading this mac mini with 8 GB RAM and the 256 GB Sandisk X400 SSD. Computer runs fine and boots normally off of original hard drive which has Yosemite installed with 8 GB RAM installed. I’ve been trying to get the SSD working and it now has El Capitan with latest updates. I’ve not been able to get this SSD drive working in the internal slot....

So you either need your headphones or a docking station to listen to your iPod. You can set the length for the backlight illumination in your setting menu. Go to setting > Backlight timer> there you can select up to 20seconds on or always on....

The SSD is used from Late 2013 to 2015, so you can change the SSD as well....

Chosen Solution Hi Everyone, not sure if anyone have any experience with I-FlashDrive HD, but It’s possible to use it like normal USB drive so I can see it in Files app or the only way how to use it is download additional app ? Thanks a lot. I’m sure the drive via the USB-A connection is the same as a regular thumb drive. Just be aware the files held on it that came from your iPhone or iPad device may not be readable from your PC....

Changed battery - can it be fixed if it had a power serge or incorrect outlet when charging it? @aileen03, aileen, If you have already replaced the battery with a good quality rechargeable/compatible battery, perhaps try another compatible charger or try connecting the USB cable with the camera and the computer to see if charges. If you suspect the camera has had a power serge, probably not cost effective to have repaired as they can be found used for just over$12....

I came home and the phone suddenly shouted down. I could not turn it on again with the power button so i reset the phone with home and power buttons. Chosen Solution Hello I received an iPad 1 model that was damaged from being dropped. Glass/digitizer broken as result. Even when charged and trying to boot with the power button, no empty battery icon, no iTunes repair icon, no apple icon, nothing shown. Connecting to the computer with USB cable also not being detected. Home + power button also no result. I decided to open the iPad and when the tablet is connected to a power source, the LCD is flickering in the bottom right corner, keeps doing that until I remove the power source....

Chosen Solution So I recently received an iPhone 5S with terrible body damage (the phone is destroyed from ringer switch up). It was assumed that the motherboard and battery were in tact and that a body replacement could go without question. Upon further inspection, that was correct down to the smallest piece of logic board screwed in next to the camera. This small piece chipped from the board, and it appears to contain one IC and a contact....

Chosen Solution Where the screen connects to the logicboard looks a little melted. The phone had water damage but the screen needs to be replaced. So I’m waiting on the part. They old screen seems to still connect Update (08/05/2017) This is the melted part I was talking about. If you mean the stuff around the connector, that is the waterproof seal. It is supposed to be there to protect the connectors....
